It’s been raining lately and I’m out of sorts. I didn’t like paying $ 66. I didn’t like getting charged $ 10 for an oil filter. When I got home, I noticed that I was charged for a sixth quart of oil for my five-quart car. So I went back. Turns out I’m an idiot and I have a six-quart car(in my defense, it’s a new car and this is its first oil change). Manager Mike explained that the filter is normally included, but when you have a newfangled canister filter instead of a traditional screw-on filter, the computer adds $ 10. They don’t really care for that policy, so they gladly refund the $ 10. He gave me a half-off coupon for my next oil change and said to always ask for the free filter. Nice work, Mike. My only remaining beef is that they assume that you want their house-brand oil and don’t carry much name-brand oil, plus they assume that you want high-priced synthetic. I had to anticipate the issue and work with a guy to get Castrol conventional. Rainy weather or not, I like having a choice of oil offered up front.

A total RIP-OFF!!! Do not take ur car here for a simple oil change. There’s a reason they only have 2 stars. They did not ask me what kind of oil I wanted and assumed synthetic. $ 83 for an oil change. They claim they asked me what oil. I have a 12 ur old car, why in the heck would I spend or request an $ 83 oil change??? Mgr knocked off $ 10. Wow.

Price for synthetic oil change quoted at 69.95. When I received the bill, I was charged an additional 5.00 for the oil filter. Since when did the price for an oil change not include the filter? I have been coming here since August of 2009 and have had increasing concerns over the last 18 months. Previously I felt comfortable because I had seen the same faces since 2009. But I do not recognize anyone now and today just pretty much sealed its fate with me. I will drive into SA from now on and just use the dealership. Plus I can get the recommended tire rotation at the same time at the dealership.

I don’t even know where to begin with this place. First, they put the wrong oil in my vehicle; I guess reading the sticker in my window that clearly said 10W20 was beyond their capabilities. Then, while checking the pressure in my tires, they broke the valve stem. They lied, and said it was because it was«rusted», then offered to fix it FORANADDITIONALFEE. I went to Discount Tire in San Antonio, and they told me the stem wasn’t rusted, Express Lube had just been too rough. Discount also fixed it for free. Never, ever again. I’d advise everyone to stay away.
