Arch Rock County Beach is a fabulous pull off with an arched rock and the rugged Sonoma coast stretching as far as the eye can see. This is one of my favorite kind of stops. A cliff overlooking an expanse of crashing waves, white foam, huge rocks and blue stretching to the horizon. I love it! There is no restroom, good views and fabulous photos. Beautiful air and infinite inspiration. There was easy parking, but maybe I should not tell you that, as I always seem to have easy parking. So be ready for cool breezes and fanastic panoramas, lovely ocean sounds, crashing waves, with occassional pelicans and sea gulls crusing above the water. Can you tell — I love it! Tip — Stop often as you come up the coast, the vista variations make for inspiring pictures and mental experiences that are world class.
