I live close and getting the deal in Unilocal was awesome! Wings are great! Love the bartender and the bands… Also I recommend the Rubin sandwich…

Great happy hour! surprising good food for a bar. I’m a none smoker with the doors open not bad. but if you can’t take the smoke it’s not the place for you. still I love the people and the place

The Duck Tavern was okay. Bartender was nice and helpful. Wings and beer specials on Wednesday pretty good deal but by the time you pay for the extra not much of a special.

We are big regulars at The Duck! We are mostly happy hour and you cannot beat the price! Yeah it is smoky, but the bartenders make you want to come back again and again! We get the best service day in and day out! My drink gets made as I’m walking through the parking lot! The food is great for bar food and during the week they have a lunch special that you cannot miss!

This bar is way toooo smokey. Don’t care to eat thru a smokey haze. Had jalapeño poppers which were average and served with a sweet chili sauce which does not go with poppers. Ordered a Chicago Italian beef sandwich which they should be embarrassed to name it that. Take it from this Chicago girl this isn’t even in the ballpark of a Chicago Italian beef sand which. Also what they call gardinera isn’t gardinera. It was pickled vinegar vegetables. A gardinera from Chicago is packed in oil not vinegar. Please change the name of your sand which or just stop serving it it’s embarrassing to Chicago. I do not recommend eating here. Also there’s no table service.

The stars are for the beer selection. This is definitely a dive bar that allow smoking. I’m drinking Corsendonk’s Belgium beer. One of my all time favorites. I started with chicken spring rolls which were pretty good. My gf had jalapeño poppers which were good/average. I had the grilled sausage with broccoli rabb & sharp provolone & roasted peppers on homemade focaccia. The peppers missing & the provolone was not sharp. My gf had the Chicago beef with gardinere. Not real Chicago gardinere & too light on the beef & lacking flavor. A dive bar with dive bar food. We won’t be back. The only good thing was the beer but $ 7.75 for a true Belgium beer is way to high.

This place is conveniently located on the corner off of federal. We walked in doors open and cigarette smoking inside. Not a fan of that. They had great happy hour deals! We had two beers and its was less than 5 bucks. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. There was one bartender who just complained about everything and everyone! I was going to order food and she mocked me. Someone else order a beer and she called them names once they left. It was just on and on. So we left. Terrible.

We went for lunch and it took over 40 minutes to get our food. We actually had to take it to go because we didn’t have enough time to eat it there. It was a rather horrible experience, their DUCKS were not in a row that day. I would never go back for lunch, nor suggest it to anyone else. I might go back in the evening… but that’s a maybe.

I have wanted to go to this place for well over a year and finally got to this past weekend with some friends who came down from central Florida. The service wasn’t that great and the bartender skipped every song in the jukebox that wasn’t the one she played. Her attitude sucked too. I may go back another night for another try but I doubt it

Great food and great deals but it stinks like smoke. You can sit outside the french doors but then you’re sitting on a noisy parking lot. Still, the mahi mahi sandwich was excellent!

***Buyer beware*** stopped by as I saw one of those spend ten get 20 deals. Figured id check it out since its right by work. Petitie female bartender was shutting me down left and right on anything I attempted to order because they were«drink specials», which also includes the wing specials they offer. So the deal is no deal as you cant really use it on anything. Theres so many bars and restaurants in Boca, I wont be coming out of my way to come here ever again. If they are going to advertise something, and there are disqualifications, They should put it in the Unilocal ad, as all the others do. Money not the issue, but not a great way to advertise and try to get others business…

Not a bad place to head in for a beer. The staff is extremely friendly which makes for a nice atmosphere. There is a TouchTunes jukebox in there with wifi capabilities so you can play songs on it right from your phone. The tap list is great, offering many local beers as well as the usuals. I only had the appetizers when they but I can tell you that the chicken strips were great! I wouldn’t come here for a full dinner though, this is more of a «meet the guys for a round or two and watch the game» type of place. I recommend trying it!

Local Pub. I enjoyed this place. This joint renewed my faith that Boca is not a snobby city. Two for one beers during happy hour and a great jukebox. I had the two Chicago Hotdogs and fries. These dogs were beautiful. These were just as good as Portillos In Chicago and looked too good to eat. The only issue with them was the buns needed to be steamed just a bit. Again I enjoyed them. I was gonna have the wings, but I like drums only and they would not sell them that way. Overall I can see myself coming here again when I visit my son at FAU. Remember to tell them Dan sent you and Stay Hungry!

It is what it is! Very quaint place with a live band. My boyfriend and I decided to try this place out as it was a halfway from both of our houses. He had the DUCK Burger which is their signature dish. He said it is one of the best burgers he’s ever had. I had the Wings-Garlic. Loved them! They were extremely juicy and full of flavor. Also there’s a great selection of beers to choose from, which you would not expect from such a little place. The prices are also very reasonable. Combine that with the Unilocal deal and you have a great steal. If not, they post a ton of Daily specials so you will get your money’s worth. The band the night we went(cannot remember the name) consisted of one guy playing instruments and singing. He was engaging and so much fun. He sang both old and new songs and he was a pleasure to watch! Will definitely recommend for a low key night on a friendly budget!

Pretty much of a dive bar with a rather decent menu but typical not so good dive bar food. However above average in cleanliness, has a good ambiance about it and attracts a super friendly fun group of very sociable people. It has a huge ever changing selection of beers, I was last informed 137, and best off, Unilocal friendly with check-in discount offers. They also offer other discounts such as for golfers by showing your scorecard, FAU University, Lynn University, In the BIZ etc. One of the best times to hit the place is around 4:00pm or slightly thereafter for their 2 for 1 happy hour, particularly because of the fun crowd, which seems to come in just about all age and from all backgrounds.

One of my favorite local bars. They have the best chicken wings. Go on Wednesday for the special. They have a great beer selection with a staff that is kind, helpful, and patient. The only unfortunate part is when eating dinner the cigarette smoke can be irritating even with the bar’s windows and doors open but I love this place

If the glitter of Delray’s Atlantic Avenue or Boca’s Mizner Park is not your scene, or you just need a break from them, you may want to waddle over to The Duck Tavern for a very earthy change of pace. The mixed crowd is laid back, the staff is friendly, the beer selection is plentiful and the kitchen cranks out a surprisingly wide variety of very decent, unpretentious grub. Head to the bar to place your order. They’ll find you when it’s ready. The haystack, a shaved rib-eye with mozzarella, tomato and horseradish is a tasty, if not lavish, sub that hits the spot. There’s also a wide-range of ½ lb. burgers priced between $ 6.95 and $ 8.95 that should satisfy most hamburger cravings. Salads, pizzas, wings, quesadillas and hot dogs also liven up the very reasonably priced menu. I didn’t see or hear it during Happy Hour, where most drinks are 2 for 1, but The Duck reportedly cranks out some great live music during the evenings on a regular basis. A Unilocal check-in will also get you 20% off your bill, although not during Happy Hour or other specials. The Duck attracts a loyal neighborhood crowd that had the small place fairly full at 7pm Wednesday night. Several TV’s tuned to sports ring the room. You will find your share of smokers, although the doors were wide open and it wasn’t a problem at all this cool night. So, if you want to head down to Federal Hwy, just a bit north of Yamato, you may find the very casual scene here just ducky.

I love going to the Duck, whether it be just for drinks or for some food. They have a relatively new menu of some awesome sandwiches and dishes, and their wings(35 cents on WEdnesdays!) are fantastic. The bartenders(Loretta, Casey and Tracy) are fantastic and friendly. Yes, it’s a smoker’s bar, and no I don’t smoke, but I’ll deal with it. During the cooler months the doors and windows are open and it’s a non issue. Sometimes the bands are too loud for my taste(I don’t want to have to yell to talk to the person next to me) so I always get there early enough to sit on the other side of the bar. If you haven’t been to the Duck for food in a while, give it another go. If you want a beat up dive bar with great drinks and great people, head on over and I’ll buy you a beer!
