This theater is in desperate need of a face-lift. Everything is old and out dated and it smells like an old movie theater. I find this strange when you consider how nice and elegant Mizner Park is. You’d think they’d have a sick movie set-up, not the case. It’s cheaper than going to the palace but only if you don’t mind the smell and the crappy chairs.

Let’s just break it down: worn out, non-lean-back seats no adjustable armrests commercials for at least 10 min. @ showtime… leading to minimal previews before movie start scratchy speaker system with weak sound Regardless, the staff is always friendly and they do feature great films, I just wouldn’t waste your time if you are holding out for a spectacular movie experience.

We attended a 7:30 pm show on a Sunday. The concession stands closed about halfway through the movie, unfortunately, because we were interested in purchasing their mix of m&m’s with popcorn. Seats a little squeaky and worn, not installed any time recently. Quality of picture and sound acceptable. I would go here again for convenience, not star quality.

I came here to watch an independent documentary film(it was a part of Palm Beach International Film Festival) and it was nice but there wasn’t really anything special about this theater. The seating is standard-style(from before the age of stadium-style seating). What would impress me about this place wouldn’t be the theater but the movies so I would go ahead and check what they’re showing before coming here unless if I was going to spend a day at Mizner Park.
