Help!!! I can’t hear??? I’m not exaggerating– it is so loud I cannot hear my dinner partners– we started to text each other— the food finally arrived— hot and tasty… our waiter Nick was friendly-and helpful-perhaps stressed– I hear there is outside seating — perhaps it’s quieter there… and some window coverings would go a long way to lower the decibels… The food was fine enough– just difficult to enjoy– because of the noise. We needed to scream at each other— just terrible. Attention owner: let me know when the problem is rectified… Instead of eating and enjoying my dinner I’m UnilocalING… Oy

Hands down the best Greek restaurant I’ve ever been to. Excellent food and five star service. Food and drinks were absolutely amazing. Would recommend this place to anyone, go!

What a great find! I loved everything about this place. The food was beautiful and tasty! The people working there have wonderful people skills from phoning in the reservation, to making changes in the reservation. I will be back!!! Thank you!

Ambience is nice and service is good, but the food is just average. I had a gyro which should be something easy to make in a Greek place and it was very simple, tasted too much to condiments that didn’t give me the opportunity to taste the meat and lamb. For the service and location, it would be great that food takes some improvement.

Went for lunch on Saturday. Sat outside. Nice view and weather. Greeted right away and server took order right away. Food was good. Service is terrible. We were forgotten about by the servers. Never filled our water. Had to wave the server down. Also, they just allowed a friend to stand at the bar and continue to smoke and have all the people who were sitting and eating smell it. They also brought us the wrong soup. I was very disheartened that the service was this bad because the food was pretty good and it’s a cute little spot.

One of my family’s favorite restaurants and we go there at least once week. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. This is also the best greek food around and everyone needs to try it. The food is consistently delicious and we have tried so many options on their menu and have been happy every time.

The quality of this restaurant is fantastic. Interior is beautiful and outdoor deck is relaxing and comfortable. I’ve ate here at least once every few weeks since their opening and never been disappointed. Definitely ask for their specials because they usually peak my interest. Recently had their Chilean sea bass and scallops and both were tasty, fresh, and filling.

First time to this restaurant. We were greeted as we came in by the receptionist. We requested a quite area of the restaurant when making our reservation and that is exactly what we got. The atmosphere and environment of this eating establishment was very clean and comfortable. It is located on a small lake area with outdoor seating. The inside was relaxing and pleasing. Our waiter came to our table without being boisterous and greeted us in a very pleasing manner. We were presented with our menus and upon reviewing we found a lovely diversified selection of interesting Greek dishes. Upon ordering our food, everything was presented in a professional manner and each dish we ordered was nicely prepared and very tasty. Our waiter check with us to make sure all was good and then did not keep interrupting our dinner. If you like Greek food this is definitely the place.

Our meal was very good! Definitely above average Greek restaurant. We had drinks/ate at the outside bar/deck. The service at the bar was good until the food came — then the two barkeeps for the next hour ignored us, even though they were there working the bar.

The food here is fantastic! The only reason I didnt give a higher rating was due to service by the bartender; 30+ minutes to get a greek salad to go/rang up wrong price/spent more time on his cell phone than customers during my 30 minute wait.

After a week of disappointing meals at other allegedly 4 – 5 star rated restaurants in the area, we finally hit culinary nirvana at Rafina. Excellent starters followed by simply but deliciously prepared entrees — seafood and lamb — are what anyone looking to dine out in the Mediterranean climate of Boca and Delray should be looking for. And the service was extremely genuine and attentive. Thanks Nick!

My wife and I were in Boca for the holidays from NYC and had an amazing meal here. The Octopus appetizer was the best octopus we’ve ever had and the salad with the fresh feta and tomatoes was also incredible. Our waiter was great. His name was Nick and was attentive and energetic. I recommend this place for families, couples or anyone who loves fresh and tasty Mediterranean food.

If you are looking for a nice romantic dinner or even a dinner with family or friends Rafina is the place to go. My husband and I sat outside by the water where it was very relaxing. Our waitress was very sweet. I had the shrimp Rafina and he had the pork chops. Both dishes were delicious. They come with soup or salad. i will defiantly be returning and I highly recommend.

We moved to the Boca/Coral Springs area last year and have tried many of the area Greek Restaurants. Rafina blew them all out of the water. We went last night and enjoyed: Grilled Octopus appetizer — freshest octopus I’ve had outside of Greece. It was so tender, the entire table kept commenting on it Xoriatiki Salata — Huge salad enough for sharing. Everything was very fresh. Dips platter — Tzatziki, Melatzosalata, Taramosalata, Spicy Feta Dip, and Hummus. Came with a mountain of grilled pita bread and all of the dips were excellent. Avgolemono soup — we all had the soup as the starter course before our entrees. We LOVE lemon and this soup didn’t disappoint I had the braised lamb shank with orzo and it was HUGE. Enjoy for dinner plus lunch for two more days. I didn’t love the spring onions garnish, but it was overall a delicious dish. My husband had the beef kabob and it had to have been at least 12 – 14 ounces of meat. VERY impressive. The rest of our party ordered the spanakopita and the lamb chops. Both tasted delicious. Only feedback would be to have the spanakopita come with a side dish(it didn’t). The décor was lovely and very modern. It was a cool night, so we sat inside, but next time we look forward to enjoying their expansive patio on the water. I would also suggest they put a changing table in the ladies’ room(changing my child on a blanket on the floor is never pleasurable). We will definitely be back and really loved the food and service!

This is the first time I’ve been to Rafina and I will definitely be back. The food and service were top notch. We tried to eat outside, but it was too windy, so we had to come back inside. But I definitely think the next time, it will be on my list as it overlooks the pond and looks beautiful on the patio. We started with their fresh pita and hummus — which was very good. We also all had the house salad — which was okay. I then had the gyro platter with lemon roasted potatoes. Everything about the entrée was very good — from the meat to the tzatziki sauce to the potatoes. There was plenty of meat and items to fill your pita with. It had a nice char on the meat — which I like in a gyro. All in all — a great place that I will definitely be back to next time we’re in Florida.

Best Greek food in Boca. Huge portions at great prices. Every time I go there are new and exciting specials. The specialty drinks are so creative and taste great! Beautiful water view for outdoor dining. Great ambiance for date night as well. I have tried most menu items by this point and have never had a bad meal there! They are new to the neighborhood so check them out next time you are looking for a nice night out.

I’ve been to Rafina twice and both times have had some rather annoying disappoints. I’m giving them Four Stars, no deductions, because I would suppose these things just happen although they’ve repeatedly happened to me. My first disappointment is that though they offer a Caesar salad with, as their menu states, «anchovies upon request» they didn’t have any on either occasion. Then, they have a beautiful deck. It’s a real nice setting right on the water overlooking lake. The first time I was here I could use it for a reason I forget and this time I could vail myself of it because of wet paint. Then, at the time of this writing, part of the mall area is being demolished so the front parking area is fenced off causing to walk around fences, trucks, and yellow caution tapes. Worse, though the demolition crew was spraying the area with water to keep the demolition dust down, their efforts proved rather fruitless with the result being that my car was covered with dust compelling me to go to the car wash. Overall, Rafina is a lovely eye appealing restaurant with a stunningly pleasant up to date modern yet comfortable décor. Though the lunch menu doesn’t amount to much, the dinner menu is really great with every kind of offering in Greek food you could desire. I started off with a Mythos, a Greek salad and a charbroiled octopus marinated in a red wine sauce with olive oil. The Greek salad was a large one. It had everything in it, was crisp, fresh and the dressing with a good solidly Greek flavor. The charbroiled octopus was excellent; it couldn’t have been better. It consisted of perfectly charred slices of octopus tentacles, tender, not chewy, done just right with a good char flavor. For my entrée, I had the lamb shank which came which came as baked in a totally fresh in flavor tomato sauce with orzo. When served I was shocked at the size of the shank. Honestly I don’t think I’ve ever seen one that large and though large, totally tender, perfectly done and delicious in flavor. As far as Greek lamb shank dishes go, one of the best.

Promised an update after going for dinner. Happy hour ends at 6 so we could not take advantage of it. Service was once again spot on and friendly. The red pepper/feta hummus was as delicious as others described. Nice start to the meal .I ordered the lamb shank with orzo. Came with either soup or Greek salad. I opted for the Greek salad and it was delicious as usual. Great dressing. The lamb shank was HUGE and absolutely delicious. Served with the best orzo I have ever tasted. It was in a light creamy tomato sauce. Had to keep fending off my wife from stealing it. At $ 19 this meal was a bargain. Had a glass of Louis Martini cab for $ 10. Very generous pour. No room for desert but had a shot of chilled ouzo. Delicious but a bit pricey at $ 10. My mother in law raved about her grilled scallop dinner(took half home) and my wife was happy with the grilled octopus.

Since I love Greek food I had to come and try the new place everyone was Unilocaling about. I was very surprised. The grand entrance is beautiful and the whole restaurant was very modern and clean. It even has a nice view of the water. Now to what matters… The food! It was really good. They have a small but satisfying lunch menu which we took advantage of and got pita wraps. I got the traditional gyro pita with fries and really enjoyed it although I could’ve used some more tomatoes.(I love my tomatoes). My boyfriend got the souvlaki pita and said the same. We also shared the fried calamari and it was really good. I’m picky with calamari because some places get low quality ingredients and the result is evident in the chewy, flavorless squid. However, Rafina’s was on point. The service was spectacular. Had two waitresses which made sure everything was great. I will be back for sure!
