What an amazing find. Everything on the menu is so good. Very quaint and upbeat ambiance. Loved the meat and quality of food. Service is great!

I hate this place with my life. Went based on the reviews and it was horrible. Burrito tasted like lasagna. The chips were absolutely horrible. It was a horrible meal. We did however have a great time because we were laughing about how bad it was. Don’t eat here. The woman behind us said it was the nicest meal she’s had in a long time; it was not. It was trash

I was going to the Latin supermarket next door for jicama and popped in for a bite. Boy am I glad I did. I started with my favorite, Tacos al Pastor. Though missing the little piece of pineapple typically served on al Pastor in Mexico, everything else was there. 3 tacos to an order. Next, I had the Tacos Americana on soft flour tortillas. Equally delicious. I finished off my meal with, made in-house, Tres Leche. «Sabroso!!» The service was great. This please I will regresar rapido. Hasta pronto Chef Omar.

Best tacos around. I’m not going to throw anyone under the bus by name, but Los Tacos is where you need to go. I HATE corn tortillas and forget to tell the waitress, but the chicken tacos were so amazing I didn’t even care. We also enjoyed the sopas, which I’ve never had before. Pricing is extremely fair for how amazing the food is. It’s one of those places that you’ll want to refer to as «my secret taco spot» when you take new people there. To give a reference of measure to other taco lovers, my other favorite spot is Tacos Al Carbon in Lake Worth. I couldn’t pick a favorite, it’d come down to proximity and mood when I get a taco craving.

Ridiculous-carry out food not made as menue presents. Was told to bring catty out back. No consideration. This is not customer service

What kind taco place doesn’t have hard shells? I’ve ordered takeout from this place 2 times and 2 out of 2 times ordering takeout, my tacos came beyond soggy and unedible in their soft shells that I thought I’d try to order them with hard shells the 3rd time. To my surprise they don’t have hard shells. Needless to say, I wont ever order takeout from here again. Unless you eat the tacos in the restaurant, this place isn’t worth it what so ever. To be honest, even eating the tacos in the restaurant isn’t worth it. El Jefe is way better, which is just down the street, but unfortunately, unless you live in Deerfield Beach, Delivery Dudes doesn’t deliver to anyone in Boca from there.

When we walked in I was delighted to see how festive the place was decorated! What a colorful and exciting view. The bar area is cute too. I ordered the grilled shrimp tacos and my mother ordered the Piccadillo ground beef tacos. My shrimp were far from being grilled, they were more like pan tossed. The coleslaw that accompanied it had too much mayo in it so it made the tortilla soggy by the time I got to the second one. My mother didn’t care for hers much. She said the ground beef tasted like Taco Bell and with all the condiments they add with the over mayo’d coleslaw hers got soggy real quick. If I go back I’ll ask for slaw on the side and just have the meat and tortilla. Or try a new dish entirely. I really want to like this place! Just hold off on the mayo!

So I was inclined to write a review for this restaurant. I went in with my wife for Cinco De Mayo. The waiter had no clue what specials they had, we had to look online to show him the taco special. We asked about a beer special and that’s when the fun began. He told us that Corona BOTTLE was $ 5. I explained that was $ 30 a 6 pack and he said no. After a quick math lesson he said that’s their«special» needless to say the decent tacos won’t be enough to get me back there.

I’m not much for reviews, and usually for when they disappoint. This Mexican restaurant is a gem. Just tried shrimp taco and guacamole spread as well as a vegetarian dish . All were very good. I’m now eagerly waiting to go back. Asked one of the owners to have more samples (smaller dishes) so I could try more dishes. He seemed very wiling to comply. Please try this restaurant out you will not be disappointed.

Ariel was great! She was fast, efficient and gave us great recommendations. The guacamole was good, but wished for some heat! The veggie tacos were just o.k. The beans & rice need more flavor! Very blend to me, but again this is based on their customer demographic. My husband in the other hand! Enjoyed the tacos with chicharónes! The sangria was not bad at all! I was very surprise. The bathrooms were clean & well kept. The gentleman in the front; was very nice and always kept a smile. We felt welcome!

Was really impressed with the tacos. I ordered the pork belly tacos, which were absolutely amazing. I also ate my body weight in chips. They were also wicked good. I have to try more of what they have between other taco selections, burritos, enchiladas, and more to get a more complete impression of what they offer. But I like what I’ve had so far. A very pleasant surprise finding this in a nondescript plaza off 20th Street in Boca.

Have I ever mentioned that I love tacos & Mexican Food? Well, if you do not know — then you do now!!! So after my wife’s last showing of property for her client — she had the urge for Taco’s and where else do we go to in order to find out the closest Mexican restaurant around. Had a few choices but when Los Tacos by Chef Omar(not me of course) popped up, I did recall that a friend had mentioned to me about it and it was a must. We get to the area and it was a bit divey but the interior was set up nicely. For a Sunday it was pretty empty but that’s to be expected since I know the area and during the week the plaza that it’s located in — does get packed. We were greeted by very nice people — and could sit where ever we chose to. When they gave us the menu — they had a nice amount of selections to choose from. We ordered the Guacamole and chips to start with. When that came out — it was pretty bland but I tend to already know this because the area that it’s located in, likes it like that. So, we added a bit of salt, some tapatio and some lime…(it already had cilantro which was awesome) and BANG!!! a bad ass guacamole… all that was missing were the jalapeños — but the tapatio made up for it. The chips were on point — just made, crunchy and not oily like at other places and had flavor. I ordered the award winning Dos Locos Tacos and my wife ordered some veggie tacos. Im use to eating more than 3 tacos but since they come in(3’s) decided that if I was still hungry afterwards — I would order more. Dish came out with a side of pico(also had cilantro and looked fresh) and I took a bite to see if it needed anything else… It was good but needed a bit of salt and some of their green sauce and it took it up a notch! Had a nice kick to it and actually enjoyed the meal… Can’t say it’s the best that I have ever had but they were really good and a very creative way of making them. My wife enjoyed her tacos and was very appreciative that they catered to her because she is a vegetarian. I was intrigued to order the DUCK tacos but the(3) that I ordered literally filled me up! It was a lot and I can eat… So, the next time I come around — the Duck Tacos will be on my radar and for my wife, the veggie tostada!!! So, we definitely recommend this place and will for sure be coming back!

My boyfriend brought me here after talking about how amazing the place is, so I had very high expectations. Well, I was not disappointed, the whole night was FANTASTIC! The authentic atmosphere and bright colors, along with the FRIENDLYSTAFF and DELICIOUSFOOD made for a perfect date night spot. I ordered the fish tacos and they were the best combination of sweet and spicy with a depth of flavors. The portions were generous and you will not leave this restaurant hungry, trust me. I usually let my boyfriend finish my food when we go out, but at Los Tacos by Chef Omar it’s VERYHARDTOSHARE! :) We are definitely making this one of our go-to places for dinner and I can’t wait to try more dishes. Also FYI, I am mostly vegetarian /eat some fish and was pleased to see there is a separate vegetarian menu, which is hard to find at most restaurants! A++ for valuing all customers!

This place has all the trappings of an authentic Mexican restaurant like I would find in Los Angeles: festive paint, lots of things hanging on the walls, shiny tables, football(soccer) on the big screen TV, and a brass heavy sound track swooning of old love and a cabarello of long past. The portion sizes are much larger then the typical Boca faire, so be ready to split a meal, or take some home, or loosen your belt. As expected, free chips and salsa with the meal, not like the place down the street which charges you and gives you Norovirus on the side. I ordered the fish tacos and was very, very pleased. Very large, fantastic flavor, fresh cabbage bed, light creamy sauce, and a flaky white fish battered in a way I am unfamiliar with from Mexican cuisine, more like Japanese Panko coated, so much lighter, and better texture than typical. Most of the staff speaks Spanish, and their chattering at the bar reminds me of my old haunts back in So. California. Plenty of Mexican beers, wet burritos, smiles, and excellent service. Friday nights a live musician, and open later(10pm) on weekends to cater for dinner crowds. Looking forward to my next visit.

Los Tacos has the best Mexican food I have ever had. Service has been consistently good. The presentation of the food is spectacular. I would highly suggest eating here.

Quesadillas and El Pastor Tacos had excellent flavor along with fine presentation and ample portion size. Stale tortilla chips proved rather disappointing, though, as did the picturesque but tinny tasting tortilla soup. Our host Luis proved very courteous, and the extra take-home salsas paired well with both the leftovers and some Tostitos.

My husband and I dined in last night. We started with the queso dip it was fabulous. He ate the carnitos tacos I ordered the chicken tinga flautas. We had the churros for dessert. The food was rather good BUT the service was awful. The waiter insisted he understood us yet we had to ask for napkins, plates, utensils the wait was so long most our food was cold before we got up and asked the bartender for the untesils ourselves. Seems staff was concerned most with large parties with big liquor bills. Since service is a large part of the dining experience I would not return. Hoping they make changes to their service. With much competition in that area, patrons will find other options, if they continue with this poor service.

I stumbled upon Los tacos by Chef omar when I was in this plaza looking for a different restaurant for dinner. I saw this place was packed and a quick search on Unilocal lead me to nothing so I figured it was brand new and decided to try it out. The inside was full so we decided to sit outside. The place literally just opened two days before hand so you know there are always kinks to work out, usually on the service end, and Los tacos was no exception. I always give a brand new place the benefit of this but was obvious our server forgot about us a couple of times. Food: while they showed a full menu with some really amazing offerings they were limited on some stuff this evening. I wanted to try the pork belly tacos but they weren’t getting pork belly until the next week. So I got the three chiles tacos. Which is shredded pork on coleslaw in a corn torilla and a spicy sauce on the side. The taco orders are served in three. The food was very tasty and the tacos were really filling. Before the meal they brought out the typical chips and salsa. The chips were thicker type of torilla chips and the two salsa given were really good. Not the usual tomato and onion watery kind. The BF got the churrasco. The meat was a bit overcooked but tasty none the less. He drank a dos equis lager and I had a margarita. Overall it’s a nice little spot. I will be back to try the pork belly tacos or the octopus tacos. Im sure the service issues will have improved by then too.
