OMG! I loved this place! I can’t believe it’s closed… the food was awesome especially the steak, shrimp, bread, steamed vegetables & mashed potatoes… hmmmm, hmmmm. The décor, the ambiance, the service, the atmosphere were all up to par. Def a 5-Star restaurant. A bit pricey but well worth it. I am sad that they are closed and no longer around :-(

I almost went here but then went on another website and the place is closed down, wanted everyone to know. I guess I lose my groupon money :-(

I like this place for lunch. Great chicken salad. Don’t do take out though… Smaller portions and they charge for bread that normally comes with salad.

Good restaurant for lunch, but a little on the pricey side when you consider the other restaurants in the area.

Good spot for a business lunch! Went here with two others for a 12:30 lunch. I was expecting an issue finding parking since we didn’t arrive before the«rush» but there was PLENTY of parking available in their lot and the one adjacent. I ordered a salad, while my tablemates ordered the BLTA and chicken. All portions were sizable — more like dinner portions than lunch portions. I’m a fan of Seasons 52 also, but I must say that I like Copper Canyon Grill as a lunch destination a little better — not as packed, an equally good menu, but with better portions. I’ll stick with Seasons 52 as a dinner locale. If you’re looking for a spot to take a colleague to lunch, this is it!

If I could give this place 4.5 stars I would. Ambiance: 5 stars Service: 5 stars Bar: 5 stars(Big thumbs up to Drew… one of the bar managers) Food: 4 stars(I came here near closing, so it could be that) Jumbo Crap Cake Side: It had a decent flavor but it was a bit too moist for my taste. As a general rule, I prefer the crab cakes to be seared to be more crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The mayo dressing base was also too salty. Tenderloin Beef Tip Salad: The greens were crisp, and homemade croutons had a decent texture and taste. Most of the beef was good, but some of the pieces weren’t cooked all the way through(Asked for Medium rare and one of them was closer to rare). One of the waiters also recommended a «Yingling?» a beer they had on tap… good call. Try it if you’ve never had one. Overall this was a great place to eat and I’ll definitely come back. I came here for business and will be back again soon.

Great food and prompt friendly service… all during a lunch rush! The manager even stopped by the table to see if everything was okay. I can’t say I’ve ever had this happen any other restaurant! The food was fresh and hot, and arrived exactly as we ordered it. The entire experience was excellent and we plan on returning frequently… also sending our friends. Oh and did I mention the Bread Pudding??? Good grief! It’s fabulous! And ask about the Shrimp-cargot! To die for!

I started watching Groupon discount offers for several area restaurants. They had a deal to get $ 40.00 worth of food for $ 20.00 at Copper Canyon Grill in Boca Raton. I purchased three«Groupons» and I really appreciate being introduced to this fine restaurant. On my most recent visit we arrived between peak hours so we weren’t bothered by long lines and extra chatter. While I went to wash my hands Michelle ordered iced tea and a pair of house salads to get us started. When I returned to the table we ordered the remainder of our meal. The salads arrived within a few minutes and they were beautiful. Fresh greens piled up in a mound topped with julienne carrots and a hunk of their signature(and very delicious) cornbread on the side. Michelle followed her salad with a «Millionaire» shrimp cocktail that she really enjoyed. They offered one of my favorite soups, tortilla, so I just had to taste it. The deep red eight ounce serving was loaded with chunks of white meat chicken and small cubes of avocado. It was thicker than most and had just a hint of hot pepper which made it quite enjoyable. Since we had the starters we decided to just split an entrée and chose the house favorite rotisserie wood fire chicken. Their chicken is one of the tastiest that you will ever find and I highly recommend it to everyone. Michelle took her favorite dark meat and I had the white. We split the baked potato and green beans and since we had the salads/soup/shrimp it was plenty for both of us. We turned down the dessert and coffee offer and were both very satisfied. I think you’ll be satisfied with the food and service on your visit to the Copper Canyon Grill. Be sure and tell them you read about it here.

We ate here last night as a last resort when 8 of us were searching for an open reservation at 830. Overall, the place is alright. The ambiance is slightly nicer than a chain family steakhouse(think upscale long horn). The menu is somewhat limited-though if you like rotisserie chicken, this is your spot. They had a shrimp appetizer special which was prepared like escargot and it was good. The smoked salmon was alright but kind of out of place in the meal. The Mac and cheese was yummy too. The veggie burger had great flavor but didn’t hold together so it was more of a knife and fork item. Everyone was satisfied with their meal and our service was fine. I did like that they were accommodating to our picky groups side selections and modifications. I don’t think I’ll be putting this in my regular rotation but if in a bind, I would dine here again.

I love it when a plan comes together. I had for an entrée The Rotisserie chicken w/Mash and stringers(which is the way it should be, right mom?) It was(my mom has weber-net, but I am pretty sure she has never heard of , so her answer is unlikely…) delish. If you go there and order it(don’t act like you won’t) don’t be surprised when it comes out literally in 45 seconds once your order is placed. It’s already ready and as was explained to me by the bartender(Melinda) «it doesn’t take long to cut a chicken in half…» Word I went here on a Wednesday night which is apparently Jazz night, like most nights but apparently Wed. is when the stars align and the best from the other bands get together and drop a serious jam session on your face! Most Jazz session I witness are an exercise in pretension, gone is the subversion that was associated with early jazz(YES!) and more importantly gone is the fun, except here. I don’t want to overstate it, but awesometown all around. Complaints: 1) The name is weird because I didn’t eat copper or canyon food(thanks Lord, canyon food is the worst) 2) It closes at 10, which is late for Boca Raton, but the opposite of late for people who aren’t a thousand and a half. Great place, great service, great time.

After receiving a coupon in the mail and seeing the gradual construction on glades rd, I was pumped to try this place out. I went with a vegetarian friend and she enjoyed Copper Canyon too. DEFINITELY get the IRONSKILLETCORNBREAD and if you have an option for a side, don’t get fries or mashed potatoes – get the SWEETGLAZEDCARROTS! Soooooo yummy! The service is super friendly, everyone is there to help.

After being sick on my vacation this was the first day I started to feel better, but I was still craving soup. So I searched the web for restaurants for lunch. As I scanned the menu I saw Tortilla soup and Baked Potato soup, two of my top three. I immediately put the Copper Canyon Grill in my gps and was on my way. Upon arrival we were seated with out any wait, maybe because everyone was next door at Seasons 52? The booths were big and cozy the lights were dim and it was quiet(great for me since I didn’t want to increase my headache with mindless chatter of other diners. We had two people alternate their role as our servers, which was explained as a team service for the new waiters to train. I started with the baked potato soup and my mom the tortilla soup. Before we recieved the soup, we ordered the southwestern eggroll appetizer. Wow I wish I hadn’t, the soup bowls were huge and the soups were thick and hearty. The waitress put the bacon for my baked potato soup on the side, since she didn’t know if I would like it. The bacon wasn’t as chewy as I am used to in this type of soup. It was more like bacon bits that they made themselves. We both enjoyed our soups. The eggrolls came out. There were 4 pieces on a bed of letticue and a side of tortilla strips. The eggrolls were nice, but I am partial to the ones at Chili’s. My mom made a comment that they eggrolls had the same base as her soup. My sister ate the other two pieces. For our entrees I ordered the Meatloaf Stack, which consisted of three slices of meatloar, a mound of redskin mashed potatos, and green beans. The meatloaf was good and spicy. It came with some sauce in a little container, but I did not like it. The mashed potatos were good and the greenbeans were fresh with that little crisp when I bit into them. I still had two meatloaf slices and most of my mashed potatos by the time I was full. My mother ordered the house salad. She really liked the cornbread croutons. She also said the big slice of cornbread that comes with the salad was mexican style without all the peppers but sweet. I love love love sweet cornbread, but hate hate hate mexican cornbread, I passed. My sister had the kids version of the meatloaf. She ate all of her food. My mom and I took our food with us. The value at this restaurant is great for the Boca Raton area. Our main server was great. She told my sister jokes, gave us information about the area and things to do while we were there. I wish I remembered her name, but she did say she had just moved to the Boca Raton area from DC. I recommend this restaurant for a lunch after a day of shopping or a dinner with the girls.

One of the best dinning experiences I’ve had in Boca. The servers were very friendly and responsive, especially our main server, Drew. The staff showed good teamwork with a couple people running drinks and food so that we got the quickest service, even if our server was helping another table. Now, on to the food. I was with my wife and two other couples who aren’t very experimental with food, so we started with the spinach-artichoke dip which was good for what it was. They brought us some complimentary rosemary bread which everyone loved. I had the crab cakes(thanks to Surf W. for the suggestion) and they were some of the best that I’ve had. No filler, lots of crab. It came with Mashed Potatoes and carrots which I also thought were very good. Finally, the drinks. I had a «Perfect Margarita» and I do believe it was close to perfect. They avoided the«Margaritas = slushy drinks» mistake that a lot of places make and added a touch of class with a server pouring my drink fresh at the table and leaving the remainder. I highly recommend this place as long as you’ve got the budget for it.

In the style of J Alexanders and Houstons. I was on the mood for a fish sanswich and enjoyed a well cooked mahi mahi with some shoe string potatoes cooked nicely. The cole salw was not to my liking but was crunchy. The other party at the table really enjoyed the Baked Potato Soup and the Crab cakes. All crab no filling. Red potato mashed potatoes were great also. Service great. I would come back for the crab cakes and shoe string potatoes. Good job Cooper Canyon Grill.

I believe I am more than qualified to review any restaurant, since am a gourmet cook, and confortable in eating out in places from Jean Georges all the way down the food chain to McDonalds. That said, my first dining experience at the Copper Canyon Grill(at several weeks after they opened) can be told very easily — «A moderately upscale chain restaurant that serves the equivalent of of a moderately upscale Denny’s menu at twice the price.

This is my new favorite lunch spot! It is located on Glades Avenue in Boca conveniently right behind my job(I swear sometimes I hear this restaurant calling my name). Everything I have eaten here has been delish! Food is always fresh and made to order. Although the menu lacks creativity, it does have a lot of variety: salads, sushi, burgers, chicken., etc. And they also have a large wine selection which I have not had the pleasure of trying because I am always here for lunch(hmmmm?). Anyway, service is fast yet friendly… especially during lunch hour when time is of the essence. No waiter/waitress belongs to any one table so whoever walks by will assist you with whatever you need. Although It can get crowded during lunch, I’ve never had a problem with waiting for food or service. Compared to other chain restaurants on their level, I give them a 4 star. Again, can’t cosign dinner but if it’s anything like lunch, you can’t go wrong. Great place for a corporate lunch… or lunch date.

Last night I finally had the opportunity to try the newest restaurant in Boca. Unfortunately, despite pretty good service and good food, I must admit that I walked away feeling slightly disappointed. For my meal I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie, which was pretty good, with the crust going all the way through to the bottom, instead of just a crusted top and the portion was generous. Our meals were brought out quick. I guess we came in at a transition of servers, because their was a lull where we couldn’t get a server for our life, and then they were extremely attentive. So why only three stars? Maybe it is the fact that when you order, all you get is your meal… period. No complimentary bread($ 4.00 for cornbread) and if you want a vegetable you have to pay a la carte(another $ 4.00), while still paying $ 13.50 for a hamburger or $ 17.50 for a roasted chicken. I guess if a place serves hamburgers and sandwiches, I have come to expect that you get a little more for your dollar than just the basic meal.

YUM! Within seconds of entering I thought this may be a little over the top for lunch but the quick attendance and guidance to a booth left me no opportunity to turn around and exit. THANKGOODNESSFORTHAT! Service-the service was great. Attentive, detailed, and knowledgeable of menu and specials of the day. Our glasses of water were always filled and the bill was quietly placed on our table before having to ask. In my book for lunch outing standards– this is a good technique. Empty plates were picked up in a reasonable time and the staff was busy working in a unified manner. Food– Caesar Salad — one of the best I have ever tasted. If you look at the picture I took you can see the moisture build up around the edges of the plate. They put the fresh salad on a chilled plate, I love when restaurants do that. The greens were crisp and perfectly juicy, the fresh red pepper slices added a nice turn of events, the homemade corn bread croutons-need I say more, and the Caesar sauce was just perfect-it was not thick and overly creamy, it was light and had a nice bite to it just as Caesar dressing should have. And the mountain of freshly grated Parmesan cheese was a great added bonus. All of that good stuff accompanied by a slice of warm cornbread. Grilled salmon in alioli sauce with asparagus and glazed carrots-it was fire grilled to perfection. the vegetables were so darn good I could eat them everyday for 2 months and still have a major crush on them Grilled Tilapia topped with crab chunks — outstanding. It didn’t even taste like tilapia. It was light, fresh, juicy, and fire grilled. My god was this plate satisfying, I would’ve licked the plate had it not been a business lunch! I did not taste the desserts but I have no doubt they too will rank high in the levels of tantalization to my taste buds. It was a bit more expensive than your average lunch spot but the quality of food combined with excellent service makes it worth the while.

Here’s the bottom line: this is a typical corporate run restaurant, with a lot of hype and not much in the way of creative or different cuisine. First, the menu is all over the place, lacking any coherency. Sushi? Steak? Pulled pork? I couldn’t tell if it was a Southwest theme or not. Second, the kitchen had people running around like headless chickens. They need some organization back there — lunch took 35 minutes to deliver. The food we had was acceptable, but not nearly as good as J Alexanders or Houstons, their local competition. It’s not a bad place for a meal; it’s just not up to par with their peers.
