All My Sons Moving & Storage of Hilton Head

I know sometimes we say, ‘even giving them one star hurts.’ but in this case, I cannot stand it. Everything was a disaster from the moment they got there!
I lived in a 2 bedroom apartment on the 3^rd floor and was moving only 2 mi away to a house on street level. There were 4 movers, including myself, and I had everything boxed up and taken apart. They took 6.5 hours to move my stuff taking their sweet time. When I finally asked that they step it up, one mover had the audacity to say «I don’t care I’m gettin’ paid either way». When I mentioned that to the supervisor later, she had the nerve to say «he just meant that he was dedicated to the job and going to stay as long as he needed…». That was a slap in the face.
They also broke, scratched and dented just about everything! This is not cheap furniture either. These were very nice antique pieces that all have to be refinished now. Somethings were beyond repair and had to be thrown out. At one point the movers were handing boxes over the railing to the next floor until I told them to stop!
****I called afterwards to complain to the supervisor. She seemed sympathetic. She told me to take my time «unpacking and settling in» that I had «30 days to complete the forms». Well she lied! I actually had only 10 days and when I turned the forms in, she said that she had made a mistake and that she was sorry. No compensation for any of the damage. Oh and just the move alone ended up costing $ 1000 (not including the repairs I had to make). I finally lodged a complaint with the Better Business Bureau who said that this company shows up a lot!****
Out of ALL of the reviews I’ve done on Unilocal so far, I feel most passionately about this one. DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU’RE A MASOCHIST!
