Square Donuts

They’re never open when I go! I’ve tried so many times. They even close earlier than when it says on their door.

So I’ve already reviewed the Square Donuts on North Walnut. This is a satellite location. The donuts are made at North Walnut and delivered here I believe. I didn’t see any sign of the ability to prepare them here. One time I had a specific request and Deborah said, «They didn’t bring any of those over today.» So if you like the quality there, you’ll like it here.
The reason for the 5 stars is Deborah. I’ve been here several times myself and with my family. She remembers us, knows our favorites and really takes care of us. She knows my kids by name too and asks me about them when I come on my own. She makes the difference for me and even if you think the donuts aren’t that different than anywhere else, (outside of the shape…) the service and friendliness of Deborah makes the difference for me.

I work near here so I’m in there several times a week for the coffee but sometimes the donuts make me buy them too and I put them in my mouth-​hole, and my diet is screwed for the rest of the day. Speaking of the jerk donuts; The donuts are great and they have a rotation of specials that I haven’t found one I hated yet.
The lady that works there, Deborah, is amazing. I don’t know how the hell she can be so nice and helpful… borderline perky, that early in the morning. I’m pretty stabby pre-​coffee so her morning personality is like a weird superpower to me. No matter what’s going on or how many people are in there, she always has a smile and is cheerful, willing to go over every single donut and it’s filling if you ask her to.

This is now my favorite donut shop in Bloomington! It has the softest texture and the «just right» sweetness to it. They are open from 6am to 2pm and they have the friendliest servers ever. I’ve checked in once in almost 6:30am and once when they’re closing, different servers but they are as sweet as the donuts!
