The appliance manager Tim went out of his way to help me buy the right dishwasher and schedule installation. I was replacing an old Sears unit that went toes up, so he gave me maximum discounts for loyalty and to help offset the stupid Minneapolis permitting process to replace a dishwasher. The store manager even stopped by twice to thank me for my business. All in all a great experience!

We went to buy a washer and dryer and was bummed because the set that was the best deal… was all sold out. We talked to Frank and he helped us, and went above and beyond. We were thinking of just doing a washer, so he showed us a few in clearance and we are very happy with our purchase and glad he showed us what was available. Definitely hope that when we decide to pick up a dryer that Frank is available again to work with. Thanks!

This actually applies to the online purchase. The main page of the website advertises a special Christmas of 5−15% off. When the order is placed, though all sorts of limitations are applied and none of the«specials» apply. Sad to see a major retailer resort to such misleading advertising!

Always terrible service when trying to return Land’s End merchandise. By «terrible», I mean that the employees seem to have little experience with handling such transactions and, there, the transactions take way longer than they should. The employees have not been«unpleasant», just unfamiliar(and, sadly, when leadership is paged on their store overcom system to come to assist, no one responds). Save yourself some time(and a headache) and drive a little further west on US Hwy. 494 and return your Land’s End merchandise to the Land’s End store in Richfield/Bloomington.

I hate it because they use your money to buy the item that you’re buying if they don’t have it in stock so I think that. Sears is a bad place

I used to work at this Sears about 15 years ago and it has really went down hill. The people don’t care, long lines, slow service and trying to carry any purchases around the MOA is a bummer. You can do a merchandise pick-up but they don’t enforce the parking restrictions for that so everyone parks there forever. It could even be the employees and managers parking there because there isn’t ever a spot for customers anymore. Also since there aren’t any places to park, you park at the curb and go in to get your item and they are crazy slow too. I prefer Burnsville by far.

We were at the Mall of America Sears location, and all the cashiers had lines. We went to the one in the Children’s area, and discovered why there was a shorter line. The cashier was slow, had no customer service, and spent all her time speaking in her native language to a customer who was holding up the line. She noticed that the line was growing and finally called for help. No one came, which was frustrating. When we finally got our turn to pay, there was no apology for the long wait, hardly any interaction, and if this is the kind of person you are going to represent your brand, it’s not a surprise people shop elsewhere. We went to Sears looking for a particular item. Next time we will think twice about shopping at Sears based on this shopping experience.
