I order and pick up. Probably well over fifty times in the last couple of years. Food tastes great. I typically get the thin crust pizza, which is definitely the best in town. Good deep dish, it’s not Lou Malnati’s, but nothing is.. Chicken and Italian beef are solid choices. Salads are quite good and fresh, especially with the house dressing. It seems like most of the complaints are with delivery. As far as some of the negative reviews: There is no way to promise 25 minute delivery on their pizza. It takes that long on pick up. So, I doubt the sincerity of that one. How can a bland crust dominate the flavor? Makes no sense. The guy with bad results on New Years: All the times you called them that day, why didn’t you place a pre-order for a set time? It was New Years Eve ! The people with the coupon issues, something just doesn’t sound right. Lastly, it was unfortunate their credit card machine wasn’t working, but to say you had to drive all over to find an ATM? The First National Bank of Bloomington is literally across the street and it’s just a two lane street and it’s an exterior ATM.

I «used» to order from here a lot. They would offer awesome deals through the pantagraph and I would buy them up to save money. Then I had the owner Phil himself call me back after I phoned in an order and accuse me of reprinting these coupons over and over to try and steal from them. I’ve spent a lot of money ordering food from them but not anymore. Not professional and turned me into a insulted, angry customer. I printed my receipts and gave them to the delivery driver. I will not be ordering from them again.

We used to be frequent customers of Rosati’s. They offered deals through the Pantagraph and to save money wewould buy a bunch up. After placing an order tonight the actual owner of the business«Phil» called me back and accused me of reprinting coupons to steal from them. We printed off all our receipts and gave them to the delivery driver. We will never order from them again… Only rated so people actually see this… Not surprised the Normal location tanked on him.

Poor service has led me to abandon this place completely. The pizza is decent but it’s rarely ready on time. Apparently 25 mins means 52 mins. No explanations, no apologies. Unless you’ve got time to spare, go somewhere else.

I have ordered their 16″ Chicago deep dish with sausage and extra cheese for delivery four times now. It costs $ 29.65 with the $ 3 off coupon. Two of the four times it was excellent and the other two times it wasn’t good. I can’t pay almost $ 30 for a pizza(even though we have leftovers for a day or two) and have it come out right half the time. I have worked at and managed at three pizzerias so I can imagine how hard it is to find good help(and retain them) in a smaller area like Blo/No when there are over 100 fast food, fast casual, sit down restaurants and retail establishments within a two to three mile radius. That’s the challenge of being in management! I don’t see how they make much profit with CJs, Tobin’s, Monacal’s, Stolfa’s all competing for the same customer base. If they don’t improve their consistency with their prices they won’t survive in the long run.

Could not love the pizza and dough nuggets more, customer service is absolutely terrible. We ordered carry out for a large group a couple weeks ago($ 80+) & when we went to pick pizza up were told they could not accept credit as system had been down all day. Had to leave, drive around to find an ATM, pay $ 3.50 fee to withdraw from generic ATM& when we finally got back to our 20+ minutes colder pizza were offered no apology, no discount, nothing. I completely understand a system going down, what I don’t understand is them not giving us a heads up when we placed the order so we could bring the cash with us. Tonight is New Years Eve & we have been planning a Rosati’s order for tonight all month long. I called this afternoon to ask what time they would close(their website said 10PM but I wanted to verify). Girl on phone said they close at 8:00 but are taking delivery orders through 7:15& carry out orders through 7:30. I called back pre 6:30 to place our carry out order & same girl answered saying they are no longer taking orders tonight. I told her I called earlier & was told they were taking orders until 7:30 and she said they got backed up & have stopped taking orders. I love this pizza. My kids love this pizza. My friends from out of town request it when they visit & I routinely choose it for birthday dinners, etc. I am a good, loyal, and very regular customer of Rosati’s but they have proven to me time and time again that my loyalty doesn’t buy much there. I may be a glutton for punishment but this is a tad ridiculous.

Waited for two hours and never got my food. Then they said I could come pick it up because they weren’t delivering anymore.

I have ordered many times. I like the pizza but their service is AWFUL! Tonight I have waited over two hours for a delivery. This has happened on several occasions before. I have tried to contact them via email about this order several times(and in the past have by phone). No response. Since this has happened so often, and they do not really try to rectify the problem, I will NEVER order from this place again, and will definitely tell my friends and associates about my recurring awful experiences with Rosatis. Sorry.

I purchased a seizethedeal voucher for a pizza from this location. It doesn’t expire until 2018. However, when I called to redeem the voucher today, they said they refuse to honor the vouchers they sold. Why? They just don’t feel like honoring them anymore. Unbelievable. This is very unprofessional. It makes me leery about how they run the business here. Based on other reviews, in addition to my experience, they seem a bit dishonest at the Prospect location. I haven’t had any problems like this at the location in Normal, so I guess I’ll stick to that location.

Man oh man oh mostaccioli that’s good! Rosati’s not only delivered, literally, they delivered, figuratively, a stellar chicken parm w/mostaccioli smothered in chewy, gooey mozzarella cheese, swimming in a perfectly balanced salty sweet sauce w/a masterfully soft, herbed bread which begged to be dredged through a sea of tomato currents that quickly became a low tide. Thank you very much Rosati’s

Pizza is good, whoever answers the phone needs some customer service skills(and some knowledge of the town). I appreciate this place because it has an excellent gluten free pizza, great flavorful herby(not sweet!) sauce, and other good crust options to make everyone happy, but they need to upgrade the phone service.

Good pizza, closest thing to Chicago style over here. Anywho– lately been getting things mixed up. Today they got my order wrong. I ordered an Italian beef, dipped, peppers on the side which is what my husband always orders by the way– so this time they deliver it with cheese. So I call back right away, do I get a I’m sorry about that? Nope. Chick just says do you want a refund or another one sent out. I opt with another one given my husband is hungry and I’m not cooking(hehe) so I’m thinking okay well I live less than five min away from them and they got it wrong so logically they should speed it up and I don’t half to wait a full hour. WRONG — after an hour I call back, and ask about my sandwich. Same chick replies it should be there any moment. Now I’m trying to be nice here, so I tell her ok well if isn’t here in ten min I’m going to cancel and I want a refund. She says ok bye. Wait what? Okay bye? Wtf can I at least get an apology? I’m paying for this remember !!! Never again. So fifteen min pass for a total of an hour and fifteen min, still no sandwich so I call and ask for a refund. Still no apology. Wow. I like the pizza and my hub likes the beefs we are Chicago natives and it takes us back but never again. I’m BIG on customer service its essential to running a good business. Or at least one would hope. They just lost a good customer.

They Have Messed up our Delivery Order 3 Times, Always the same thing. We Order Pasta dinner with MEATBALLS, we tried online ordering and then calling the order in yet they still Charge us and never deliver them. Called this last time, they seemed uninterested in making it right. Unbelievable! Sad thing is Pizza is good, pasta is Hit or miss. Sometimes its lights out others it tastes«old». We’ll just try Noramls from now on, this one in Bloomington is not run well!

Rosati’s Pizza is the hands down greatest pizza in Bloomington/Normal. Their crust is astounding. Their sauce has so much flavored to it. Their Sandwiches and backed manicotti is also good,

Stopped in on a recent business trip to Bloomington. Was hoping to have some Chicago style deep dish, as I never actually get to Chicago and was hoping this would be close. It did not disappoint. I decided I would dine in, they had a small TV with a football game playing. I quickly found the Chicago deep dish on the menu and ordered a small with Sausage, Pepperoni and Jalapeños with a drink. The bill was about $ 25, which seemed high until the pizza was delivered to my table. I guess it was a 12″ pizza that was about 3″ deep and probably weight 10 lbs. I was only able to eat 2 of the 8 slices while there. Good think my hotel room had a fridge. The pizza was great. Cheese was melted perfectly and the sauce blended perfectly with the heat from the peppers. I would definitely come here again, maybe with some help next time. I warmed up 2 more slices in the oven the next night at home, and am freezing the other half of the pizza. So after the initial sticker shock, I think it is well priced. The small would feed 3 adults easily. Well done.

Claims to be Chicago-style. So what is the verdict? WannaBe or RealDeal? My Vote: RealDeal Why: Tastes like Giordanos. If you don’t know what I’m talking about then you probably think Monicals is good pizza. Coming from Chicago I really miss Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza, so I was ecstatic to learn Rosati’s was coming to town. I’ve never had their thin crust and probably never will. Order this and you won’t be disappointed. Promise. Worth the money and the wait, and to show those who swear by Monical’s, what a real pizza tastes like. Chicago Style(NOT the double dough, some people get confused) Tip: Too many ingredients can make a deep dish watery or soupy, just a characteristic of this type of pizza so I recommend sticking to your two favorites. I prefer sausage and mushroom. No need for tomatoes, trust me on this… and if you like it veggie style, spinach and mushroom are a great combo. The restaurant itself isn’t very big to sit in so order ahead and pick it up. You will NEED a fork and knife on a real plate to eat this. Enjoy!
