I love this place. The staff was very friendly and the lunch buffet was only 6.99. You can’t beat that deal. The fresh made sushi was delicious. The other buffet is good and what you would expect from any Chinese buffet. I highly recommend.

Ingredients at the Hibachi did not look fresh/safe. Food in general isn’t being replaced often. Many dishes looked like they were there for hours. I won’t be going back. I’m giving it two stars for the value at $ 9.99.

I was very disappointed. This was my first time at hibachi grill and it probably ll be the last time that I ll take my family to eat here. The foods did not look very appearance and not even taste good neither. The service was not good. When we arrived there, we did told them that we had 3 adults and my daughter, 20 months old. When we received a check, they charged my 20 months old $ 3.99 and on the received it even said $ 3.99 for 3 years and above. So we went to the counter and told her again that she just 20 months old and she said we charges 2 years old now, ehhhh 20 months old is not even 2. I think she didn’t know math. On brochure that she showed me even said $ 3.99 for 3 years old up. We still paid for my daughter. For sure this will be the last time that we will step in there. I should stick with Imperial buffet. I learn my lesson not all asian goods at math. lol

This was my first time to hibachi buffet and I was very disappointed. The staff was friendly but the quality of food was subpar. Most of the food looked to have been sitting out for hours untouched. The rice was hard, chicken was cold, and the meat on the hibachi line looked inedible. I’m sad to say I will not be returning here again.

Food is good ! This cheap price eat this kind of food what else you expect ?! Some people’s reviews are not objective, $ 9.99 dollar dinner is really good price for these food ! If price goes up to $ 13.99 some thing like this some people also complain Ba la Ba la. I travelled 42 states, tried a lot buffet, and here is really good ! Trust me !

1st time eating here. We usually go to Imperial so forgive me if I make comparisons between the two. Hot and sour soup has great flavor and probably one of the best tasting ones in town. Very large selection of food, more than even Imperial buffet just a few miles away. Fantastic dessert selection, lot of ice cream choices and cakes. The rice and noodle dishes had better flavor at Imperial but overall we’re happy with everything we tried and will be back

The food was good and so was the service. The only drawback is that Unchained Melody played the whole time we were there… which was over an hour!

A very good buffet. They keep the food fresh and the sushi is excellent. A very good selection of Chinese and American dishes.

DONOTGETTHESUSHI! We went here for sushi and it was just. plain. terrible. Its almost all rice, there is barely any fish and they don’t make standard rolls…(where is the salmon avocado, California, tuna rolls??) I wish i took a picture but I was too disappointed. Don’t get the sushi here. I don’t know about the buffet.

The food was alright. It’s a Chinese buffet, so that’s what you have to consider first off. Secondly, you also have to consider the fact that they also serve American food. Like mashed potatoes. Sometimes having variety isn’t always a good thing. In this case, it isn’t. No one ever stirred the food. I used to work at a buffet. You’re supposed to stir the food so it doesn’t get all dry and gross. Which it did. What I ate was good. I liked that the crab Rangoon was sweet. Nowhere else seems to have sweet crab Rangoon. However, I had some. Issues. The staff was friendly, and didn’t speak English very well, so people may misinterpret the fact that they were fast and short with words as being«rude.» That’s not the case. The staff just doesn’t speak English very well. They’re polite. They did however, constantly flirt and cuddle with each other on the job. That was a little uncomfortable. The also seem to be having some. Cross contamination issues. There was sugar in the teriyaki chicken from the donuts they have. They use the same scoop for ALL the different flavors of ice cream. How dangerous is that? They have butter pecan! Not only do I not want my cookies n cream ice cream to taste like mint(which it did), but I don’t want to die from it due to a severe peanut allergy(which I didn’t and don’t have, but that doesn’t mean someone else doesn’t and won’t)! I saw a server hold two full glasses of water(without straws, so I assume they were giving them to a customer and not taking them from a customer) with her fingers in the glass to hold onto the two of them, and a yellow rag touching the tops of the cups. The rag could’ve touched the water! What was that rag used for??? Yuck! TL;DR: Servers flirted with each other, the food was dry from not being stirred under the heat lamps, they have cross contamination issues. Bad.

The last time we went there we were told that the Sunday buffet was a certain price and after the meal we were charged more than what we were told. The manager was extremely rude about getting her extra $ 2/person and told us that«we were misinformed by the employee so pay up.» Add to that, our waitress was wearing fishnet stockings and a very high skirt and would roll her eyes when our 2 year old would get in her way. I understand that young kids can be frustrating but an employee has to do better than that — it’s unacceptable. She looked and acted like a prostitute with zero class! The manager who checked us out was even worse — she was yelling at us to pay our extra $ 2/person and was acting like her life depended on it. I told her that we will pay our extra $ 2 and I hope she enjoys it because we will never return — ever! As far as the food, it was nothing special. Lots to choose from, but not impressed. Since Ming’s is closed, we will take our business to Imperial Buffet, where we’ve always been treated well and had positive experiences. Bottom line: I hate this place and hope they go out of business!

Food was not fresh, everything was disgusting. Looks like it had been sitting all day. I gave it a 2 only because I liked the hot and sour soup. Everything else was son is 5, so I or him nuggets. They were hard as a rock! The Mac n cheese I wouldn’t even get because it looked burnt on too like it had been sitting all day. I tried to get him to eat a piece of roast, which luckily I tried first, because it had a funky taste. Crab Rangoon was too sweet, sushi rolls not fresh and had too much rice. It was not a pleasant experience.

Has slowly gone downhill since it opened. Still clean and friendly service. But the food quality has slipped considerably. I had several types of sushi, and most were dry and obviously not as fresh as I would expect given how busy it was. My dinner partner enjoyed her hot Chinese buffet items, but noted the freshness of the food was just not there for most of the food.

I give them 4 stars for value. It is hard to be critical when the buffet is just under $ 10 /person. This place is good if you want something fast and uncomplicated — and yet don’t want traditional fast food. Lots of options in the buffet. Nothing amazing and some things I didn’t like — and yet I find enough things that I do like. I try to avoid the fried items — which there are plenty of. I like: — peel and eat shrimp(not the best, but they are decent) — muscles — couple different shrimp dishes — cooked mushrooms, cooked green beans — some of their noodles — they always have a couple different fish dishes — baked mushrooms topped with cheese — dumplings with dipping sauce Have had them cook me a stir fry before and it was good too.

Ok, look, Hibachi Grill is what it is… a buffet with lots of decent(no, not great), hearty, and flavorful Americanized type asian foods that has the added benefit of also offering edible sushi and admittedly mediocre Mongolian Grill to order offerings. THATIS A LOTOFVARIETYANDFOODFORTHEPRICE, ANDSOMEPEOPLEONHEREGIVING2STARSNEED A FRIGGUNLOBOTOMY. What are your expectations for an all you can gorge place with like dozens of dishes, sushi and a grill??? They must be higher than anything charging what this place charges can provide in the US. Ive lived in Chicago for over a decade, and this buffet KNOCKS the suburban«China Buffet» types out. They also have some decent American fare as well, but the pizza is highly forgettable. WHOCARES??? The asian chicken dishes are good, the steak in pastry is amazing, the rangoons are very good… I mean damn, you don’t come here to eat healthy… and even if you did, you could simply stick to the Grill and ask for light oil and just load up the veggies and chicken. That alone would be worth the price of admission by the time you had a bit of dessert. Oh, and its pretty darn clean for a buffet as well, and the ambiance is decent. Basically you get 20 dollars of mediocre food for 10 incl. tip. WHATISN’T TOLIKEPEOPLE… IFYOUWANTEXCELLENTCHINESE, D O N T COMETO A MFKNBUFFET!!!

I really wanted to make this 3 star :( It’s a buffet. Chinese. With some sushi and a grill for hibachi cooked food. This isn’t a hibachi type place with cooks throwing utensils around and having flame shows. It’s open until 10:30. I went around 8:05. Waited a few extra seconds as the owners were counting the days proceeds and a server to seat me wasn’t around. She showed up and seated 1 people. All/most of the cooks were on break, with all/most of the servers. Eating«their» food. Not the first time I’d enconutered this situation. Meanwhile, all the trays in the buffet are empty, or nearly empty. And the presentation was just not attractive. Almost empty trays look like — leftovers that the previous person wouldn’t touch. I scrounged up some fish and veggies. The lo mein was«unique». The hot and sour was actually somewhat spicy. It was cheap. less than $ 10 including tax.

My high ranking is primarily for the Mongolian BBQ. I love Mongolian BBQ and Hibachi Grill does it very well. Not the best but very good. If I could make a couple recommendations, I would tell them to replace the plates with bowls and add the variety of liquid seasonings you find at every other MBBQ. However, the fresh veggies on the bar are exceptional as is the beef & chicken. I avoid the shrimp and fake crab meat and at dinner time they add small ribeye steaks. As for the sushi, it’s edible but not fantastic. The other buffet items are good and there are plenty of options. They have several American items as well. Their desert section is above average but I don’t eat sweets. It’s hard to beat for $ 6 at lunch.
