Essentials has always been my ‘go to’ place for massage services. I’ve had several one-​hour individual massages, a wax and a couple’s massage. The skill and professionalism has been amazing. However, I will not be returning to Essentials Day Spa… EVER!
I received a gift certificate for Christmas 2013 (they never expire) and have misplaced it. We have a receipt with the $ 154 purchase on it, and Essentials told me ‘tough luck’. I asked if they could please match the purchase amount to the certificate purchased on that date, and they told me no. So sorry, but feel free to use the certificate if you ever find it.
Very disappointed — horrible way to treat ANY customer, but for $ 154? I feel really ripped off!

Went after purchasing a deal on
and I got an excellent 60 min massage here. Really relaxing experience. I was concerned that it might not be a relaxing as massages I have had before on vacations (on the beach, relaxed environment… how could this compare?) but Candace knew what she was doing and really worked out most of the knots I had. I haven’t tried any of the other services they offer, but intend to do that in the future.

Do not go here for a Brazilian. That’s all I have to say. The esthestician, Alyssa, missed a lot of areas! She was friendly, but not efficient. Paid way too much for what I got.

I love Essentials. I’ve never had a bad experience there and I’ve been a handful of times. Great massages (regular and pregnancy massage) & facials, nice atmosphere, and decent prices (although they just raised them… boo!). What more can you ask for?
