Always a must-see when home in Bloomington. Buy 5 items, 6th is free… what a deal! Love the preserves, and the pickled green tomatoes. Friendly staff and the fudge is tasty too. If I don’t have room in my suitcase, I ship my jars back USPS in a flat rate box, as this is a lot cheaper than having them ship it.

I have a weakness for roadside farmer’s markets… with those signs that read… «Homemade»…“Fresh”… «Local»… they always catch my eye. On roadtrips I’ll see one of those signs in front of a cute, country farm type building… I’ll turn to the husband(who is usually driving) and he knows that if he turns into that driveway entrance… he just made his wife VERY happy. Dillman’s is one of those very places. I do believe«Fresh Fudge» was their eye-catcher sign. Little did I know that their fudge was not going to be my favorite choice(but is quite excellent) It’s their homemade preserves and spicy BBQ sauces that won my heart(and tummy) over. Nicest sales ladies ever… offering samples and their personal choice favorites. My favorites… Chipotle Apple Raspberry Sauce… so yummy baked on chicken breast Apple Butter Spread-NO SUGARADDED… none needed! and Seedless Black Raspberry Preserves… delish! The husband’s favorites… Jalapeño Pepper Jelly and the Honey Habanero Mustard All the jars are between $ 5-$ 6 and when you buy five you get the sixth jar free. A favorite relative lives close by Dillmans and this has become one of our«must stop» places when visiting… I’ll be a little sad if she ever moves from that area. They also have an on-line store:
