I lived in Kingston Ridge in Gosport back in 2009 and would not recommend it to ANYONE! We were the first tenants to move into some of the newer town homes in the back(808 Laurens Way) and it was very spacious, I will give it that, but that did not make up for the rest. We were told that they would come back to touch up the paint(which never happened and they ended up making us pay for new paint when we moved out), our freezer went out and about a week later they brought in a very old, moldy refrigerator that was much smaller than the original one. We were told it would be replaced ASAP and of course, it wasn’t. The A/C unit froze up several times while we lived there and while we were living there we were ROBBED. To add insult to injury, the damage from being robbed(broken screen/window) was added to my «list of damages» when I moved out. Eventually neighbors moved in and we had to listen to their dog bark all hours of the night and their kids constantly hitting the walls. We complained to management and nothing was ever done about it. We ended our lease 6 months early due to getting robbed blind and the apartment manager told us that it looked great and there shouldn’t be any extra charges. Well I wish I would have got that in writing! They ended up charging over $ 1000 in damage fees. My husband and I are both in the nursing field with no animals and no children, the apartment looked just as good as it did when we moved in aside from the window from being broken into. This place is a scam. They ended up putting it on my credit report and never filed the release of satisfaction to Owen County Circuit Court so even though it is fully paid, it still shows up as never being resolved. GOELSEWHERE!!!

Do NOT rent an apartment or house from them. They barely do any maintenance, and when you complain, they threaten you with eviction and lawyers.

I am still living here. I would NEVER allow someone I care about to follow in my footsteps. The first six months were awesome. I love the tiny space, and the remote Westside location with tons of parking and no traffic. But after six months, we got roaches, from no where. We talked to the apartment complex, and they said we must have brought them with us – six months ago – and no one else in the complex has complained. We accepted that, tried bombing ourselves, made more maintenance requests for help(broken window latches, scary black spots that roam around our carpet that I suspect are mold but the apartment complex says MUST be dog urine, never having the second key to the second lock on our front door, despite promises to have a copy made for us). When our new neighbors moved in, they came to APOLOGIZE to us about the bugs! they said that the apartment complex had told them they had brought them with them, and that no one else has complained. So we interviewed every other renter here – they all complained, were all told they had brought them with them, and that no one else had complained. And the neighbor on either side of us ALSO has the scary-might-be-mold black spots on the carpet. Deckard will do NOTHING, no matter how many times I have called, emailed, put it in writing through the front door, or had my Husband go down there and ask directly. there is always an excuse why it hasn’t been done before, and a promise that it will be done in the future – but no follow through. My tiny perfect apartment has roaches so bad that I fall asleep to the sound of them moving things in my Kitchen – MOVINGTHINGS. And I woke up this morning when one dropped on my head from the ceiling. It’s awful, and I simply cannot recommend enough that if you CAN go somewhere else, you DO.
