Carbone’s Pizzeria

I used to be a big fan of this place and we ordered all the time from my office but last Monday was my last time. The time before this last one, I waited 1.15 hours before I received my lunch which was only a salad and mozzarella sticks. I called them twice with no apologies. This time the delivery lady was so rude that I almost took her tip back. I was a little late to pick it up but due to last time, I figured it would be awhile. Our salads were gross and the meat was slimy. There wasn’t much lettuce in the salad and I was highly disappointed. Never again…

waited an hour for my pizza after ordering online. called the number five times and it went directly to a voicemail that wasn’t set up. finally got through on call number 6. the guy said they had no record of my order. i told him my confirmation number. he said that it didn’t matter.
don’t *ever* order from here.

My distant memories of Carbone’s pizza were better than our last experience with them. We ordered delivery while staying at a nearby hotel. The delivery man wasn’t friendly. I did appreciate that they delivered plates and napkins with the pizza. That was nice. The pizza took an hour to be delivered. It had the thin Carbone’s crust, and a healthy portion of cheese that I remembered, but was cooler than we would have liked. The garlic cheese bread that came with the order was a real disappointment. It was cold, and didn’t taste garlicky at all. If you’re looking for takeout/​delivery, it seems to me that you could probably do better.

Took an hour & a half for delivery. But, food was hot. The pizza is really good. They have an online deal where if u spend $ 20 you get a free med cheese or pep pizza. So, I ordered some chicken, Jo Jo’s, mozzarella sticks and my free cheese pizza. The broasted chicken was good, Jo Jo’s sucked, mozzarella sticks were almost ok and the free pizza was really good. Next time I’ll stick with the pizza.

These guys came by office and dropped off coupons a few weeks ago. We rarely order pizza for the office but gave it a try. We ordered taco pizza. It got here quickly and it was excellent! They even brought the plates, napkins, sour cream and taco sauce. It was really good and we were very happy and impressed.
However if I get a fraudulent charge on my credit card I will be very unhappy. Hopefully they fixed this issue that the previous reviewer had issues with.

I’ve ordered from this location twice in the past year for a work event. Both times I gave my work credit card over the phone, both times I received a call from the bank for fraudulent charges within three weeks and no other card purchases. I called the manager to let him know I wasn’t accusing, but to give him a heads up in case other customers called because maybe his machine/​means of processing was not secure, and he got mad telling me, «My employees didn’t take your card number!» I even began the conversation with, «I’m not accusing you but wanted to bring this to your attention…» and he was very defensive and wouldn’t listen to me.
I find it bizarre how it happened twice in a year, both after purchasing from them. Food is good, but not worth the worry.
