My review is of the Clear Creek Trail. Just drive a bit further down the road and turn left to park when you see a bridge. You can walk on a lovely paved trail through farm land and all the way to the intersection of the Bloomington Rail Trail. There are birds, creeks, cows and a few bikers, walkers. It’s peaceful and lovely. Don’t tell too many people because right now it seems like my little secret. But it’s lovely for walking, running and I’ve also just parked across the street where there’s a gymnastics studio and walked/run around that area too. Good views of the wide open sky and some nice farmland — so close to the city but a nice respite from noise.

I have been during the day and night. It can be a little dangerous at night. There is a homeless compound that stays out in the woods, so be sure that you’re not alone and that you’re prepared for danger. But it is absolutely gorgeous at night. I didnt see anything sketch on my night hike and highly recommend going. Just better safe than sorry. The day time is also really nice. It can get crowded, but thats all parks here in Bloomington. It is usually filled with runners and speed walkers. I dont see many kids. It is a trail, not a full size park. And it doesnt have the art that the B-line has so it may not be well suited for some kids. I would have loved it when I was a kid… but I was a nerdy outdoorsy kid. Definite spot for locals interested in getting off the B-line and out of the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life quickly. I wouldn’t really recommend for tourists. We have much better spots for you.

I had such a great jog here this morning! It’s absolutely a perfect spot to meet up with a friend and jog on the trail for an hour(parking lot available at the trail head). We jogged to the bridge which was about 25 mins away(and where there is a nice port-o-potty available) and then ended up walking back and enjoying the lush, green scenery. We saw people riding their bikes on the trail and also some people walking their dog as well. The trail also connects to the Clear Creek Trail if you want to go the distance.
