Something between 3.5−4. Service is good, decoration is old fashion. I feel glad to see several new restaurant opening in Bl to increase the competition in the local business. Hopefully, this place will promote the cooking to match up its price.

The food is great but the acoustics make it hard to hear other people in the restaurant. It is not a place to do things like conduct interviews.

We were invited here for a graduation dinner. The appetizers chosen by the host of our party were slightly warm. Calamari is not good at room temperature. We were not warned that the bacon wrapped dates had pits. Not a great surprise for your teeth. The food was very bland and overly priced. Two of the meals in our party of 15 had to be returned because they were not properly prepared. I would never go here again or recommend it to anyone. The night before we went to Applebee’s for another graduation dinner and it was fabulous.

Recently got carry out and the food was either wrong or not good. It was really disappointing but the manager on duty was very nice and made up for it, so that’s what I call good customer service. But this was the issues with the food: The Caesar salad — 90% if the lettuce was brown– not fresh Chicken chopped salad– made very clear to not put bacon on it, and there was bacon Chicken Pietro– taste was fine but the mashed potatoes were slopped on the bottom of the bowl and was runny and melty and stuck to the chicken Seemed like a rush job and was not accurate at all. But thank you to the manager Derrick for being considerate about it.

Biaggis has become a favorite. I’m giving it a 5 star rating based on being south of I-80. The food is great, but a tick below some of the Italian spots in Chicago. The main reason we keep going back is the staff, in particular the hostess and bar staff. Our reservations have never been lost nor have we ever been disappointed. We prefer to sit in the bar area and the staff there is top shelf. David and Ashley are each wonderful. When we dine and they are both working, we say we got the dream team.

My family and I have been to Biaggi’s often and we have always been happy with the food and service but our visit the last time has left us wondering if we need to look for a new Italian restaurant. It was one of the WORST dinner experiences. We had to deal with all of the following issues: — bread was cold and stale. Asked the waiter to bring fresh warm bread and we were told he would in a little bit because he didn’t want to say«right away» and not bring it out for a bit. ??? –they were out of mussels for appetizers. Are you kidding, Biaggi’s? 7:30 on a Sunday and you don’t have mussels? — the kids meals prices on the kids coloring sheet are 6.99. The price on the receipt was $ 7.99. When I asked why the price was wrong, one of the waiters got their«service manager» if I remember correctly who then tells me that the prices have not been updated on the coloring sheet. Wow! Biaggi’s marketing team can’t be bothered to print the correct prices on their coloring sheets. They are misrepresenting their prices in the hopes that people either don’t notice or won’t care. The service mgr did remove approx $ 6(big deal!) from the bill as a courtesy. But I had to first tell him that they need to charge the prices they print. The price misrepresentation bothered me a lot even if only $ 1. Their response was ridiculous. — the waiter spilled a glass of water at our table as he was clearing the table. While I realize that mistakes happen, my husband was soaked and the apology from the waiter didn’t seem sincere and his response was delayed. Very irritating! Not happy at all. Biaggi’s management at the Bloomington location needs to get its act together. Service has clearly gone downhill in recent months.

Great food! Cooked wonderfully and fast. Even though I went on Valentine’s Day the service was tremendous. My drink was always full, I was always checked upon. I had reservations and I was sat down 5 mins early. Décor of dinning area was beautiful as well. Will return many, many times.

We eat at Biaggi’s whenever we are in the central United States. Whether it’s dining in or out they do a very good job. We have done excellent with carry-outs or «take-away» as my European friends say. If you are«dining in» the atmosphere at Biaggi’s is very warm and welcoming, the décor not over-stated, and the staff is very attentive. The dining room is very clean and recently vacated tables are cleaned up quickly. The music is appropriate and always just at the right volume level. The menu is very good and changes certain offerings on a regular basis. There are daily specials and wine tasting dinners offered periodically. The wine list is adequate and the bar does a nice job on cocktails as well. The prices are very reasonable given the atmosphere and service. I would recommend Biaggi’s as one of the stand-out restaurants in the Bloomington-Normal, Champaign or any of their other central US locations. Only wish they were in South Carolina. This is a class act chain.

Great food! Special Kudos for the bruschetta and the mussels! Just by looking at this pic you can see how well made it was done. All courses came super fast as well. Nice staff as well. 5 stars!

Every single thing on this menu taste like heaven. Have had the black fettuccine with lobster, tiramisu, chicken parmesan, cappellini di mare and others. All incredible, filling, and delicious. Their focaccia is to die for. Pricey, but so worth it.

Service was excellent but the food was disappointing. I cannot stand bland food. Italiano restaurant and Olive Garden is now my go to for Italian food.

I wasn’t that impressed with Biaggi’s. I got their Calamari and Baked Ziti Al Forno. Both weren’t bad, but I wouldn’t order either again. The prices aren’t very good considering the quality of food. The service was decent. Refills were provided in a timely manner, and the server was friendly and helpful. I think I expected a little more. To me Olive Garden is a better bet all around.

Well Baiggi’s you did it again. you made my birthday dinner great again. The Ziti Al Forno keeps on being better every time. And the ice tea is always out of this world. Service was great and friendly too… Thanks again.

This is my first visit at this location, in reading the reviews… I was apprehensive to spend the time and money as the reviews where 50⁄50. However, the food was absolutely worth the time and the $$!!! The Pork Chop with veggies and potatoes was just worth the drive back very very soon!!! Now on to the service, the wait staff was on it tonight. Drinks were like a bottomless glass! Although it was prom night and the place was packed-the food was prepared and served with such time and grace!

Avocado on the beat salad was a little overkill with the dressing. The pizza could of been a little more well done. I had the small order of lobster pasta, it was acceptable. Lamb chops were hit or miss may be due to separate chops versus a rack. Price was good, just underwhelming.

My wife and I visited Biaggi’s for a Friday dinner. We live, maybe, two miles away but don’t eat there very often. There are an incredible amount of eateries in the area and we like to eat around. Surprisingly, there was no wait on this particular Friday evening. We were seated near the fireplace and waited for our server, which didn’t take very long. As she approached out table she looked and smiled because she recognized us. It turns out that our server was Iris, who was our favorite server at Hooters, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. My wife ordered a pasta dish and I ordered the North Atlantic Cod(photo attached). Iris was very attentive and came back often to check on us and to refill our drinks(we drink an inordinate amount of iced tea). The dinner salad(photo attached) is definitely shareable, and came with house-made dressing that was VERY good. The timing was perfect. About the time I decided I’d eaten all of the dinner salad that I could(it really was huge), our entrees were brought out in large, overs-sized dishes. The temperature hot(something I’m very particular about), and the presentation was gorgeous. The North Atlantic Cod was OUTSTANDING. I don’t know that I’ve ever eaten such a well-prepared seafood dish. Well-seasoned and cooked, served on a bed of sautéed spinach and mashed cauliflower, I was in seafood heaven. When asked if I wanted dessert, though, I had to pass. The atmosphere at Biaggi’s is very warm and welcoming, the décor not over-stated, and the staff is constantly on the move. The dining room was kept very clean and recently vacated table were cleaned up within minutes. The music was at a comfortable level, and it was easy to converse with my wife and with Iris. We found the menu selections to be more than adequate(along with a few daily specials) and the prices to be very reasonable, given the atmosphere and service we received. I’d recommend Biaggi’s as one of the stand-out restaurants in the Bloomington-Normal area. It really is a class act.

We have been here many times and have always had excellent service and I’ve never had a dish that I didn’t like. My favorite dish is the pork chops — they’re covered with bleu cheese and melt in your mouth. I’m not one to order pork chops anywhere, as I’m a steak and burger kind of guy, but these pork chops are a must! You can’t got wrong with the chicken parmigiana or any pasta and I really like the focaccia bread, not to mention the tiramisu is terrific. This place is first class and, in my opinion, the best restaurant in Bloomington-Normal. You can never go wrong here!
