I always frequented the old location, and the service was about the same as every Starbucks. I haven’t gone in to the new store, but I go through the drive-thru ALL the time. It’s the fastest service out of any Starbucks drive-thru I have been to in the area. I was in line the other day before work, and it was moving slowly — but I didn’t think it was that bad and it was still moving faster than the Roselle Starbucks. Because the line was moving slowly, they apologized profusely and gave me my drink for free. They didn’t have to do that, but I appreciated it.

New location at a new building with a drive-thru. You can enter heading east on Army Trail because of the One-Way. The interior is fresh with plenty of seating; all stools are table height and countertop, no couches and no lounging around. Perfect ambiance and a place to sit down, relax, listen to the music, chat with friends, and eat or drink from the always updated menu.

There are a few new faces but the core team from prior Gary Ave location. Tried the order in advance and it worked out great! Very spacious with lots of seating but gone are the cozy comfy chairs that are my favorite. Think German beer hall style long tables and some high tables. Lots of tables for two which is nice. As far as coffee, etc-all standard fare. Never had to wait long and usually my orders are spot on. Plus, they often offer a puppacino for my doodle dog when we are in the drive thru!

Eh. It’s shiny and new but I think the employees are too. I’ve been through the drive through twice now and the wait has been too long. There wasn’t that many cars in front of me and they each got one drink, so it wasn’t for due to massive orders. My coffee was hot and what I ordered, so they got that right I’ve been to lots of Starbucks and some of them try to chat you up when you get to the pick up window. They don’t do that here. Maybe because you have been in line so long they don’t want to really know how you are doing!
