Loved this place! Been back twice and each time it «opens» at 10 or 11 however no pizza is ready until 12. I’ve been coming to this mall for over 25 years. This is one of the reasons!!! No wonder it’s failing. No one cares anymore. Won’t be back.

Idk about you but I love their ooey gooey very cheesy and chewy cheese pizza! Their red sauce is not salty unlike most other pizza from other pizza joints. And their spaghetti with meatballs isn’t that bad at all.

For some reason, the moment you enter a mall food court the quality of food automatically drops 50%. Doesn’t matter if its a subway or any other place. Food in most food courts just suck. Yet year after year they stay in business. Its like the owners know«you’re too damn stupid and lazy to go all the way to your car and drive 2 minutes to a better place» so you end up eating in the mall because its«convenient.» In truth I fall for this crap way too much. I’m at the mall buying something or watching a movie and I walk by the food court and lo and behold I’m getting a slice of pizza that’s been sitting out for 5 hours or crappy Chinese food sitting in a heat tray. Now to the review: I’m ashamed to admit I’ve eaten here way too many times and every time its totally mediocre. From the pizza to the pasta its just bad. The pizza is semi warm, almost stale and not worth the price. The pasta is usually overcooked or undercooked.(I know, its amazing) The marinara is bland and flavorless. The bread sticks/garlic knots actually aren’t too bad so clearly it must be hard to mess that up. I’m only giving this place 2 stars because it manages to trick me into eating there quite often. I walk by and see a fresh pizza out and«oh, its fresh so it must be better than normal.» Damn you to hell Sbarro.

This place deserves no stars. The pizza was ice cold, tasted like fire(a burnt taste), and even my kids hated it, and they LOVE pizza, but let’s face it, this isn’t pizza. $ 8.00 for a slice and a drink? next time, I’d rather starve!

I used to love this place. Don’t see any of these around much anymore. I grew out of this chain pizza, but this fat child loved getting a greasy(yes pooled on top of pizza) slice with a large root beer. Thanks for not always buying me two pieces, mom!

This Sbarro really wasn’t up to par. the one in Schaumburg is better, and Cherry Vale Mall is still my favorite. Cold pizza, bad crust, very soggy. Just blech!!! :(

Is this really sbarro or did they just buy the labelled cups from sbarro. I usually get the cheese and spinach stromboli meal(with antipasto and a drink). I did the same this time and the wife got a cheese and spinach, I think it was a slice of pie. Antipasto was limpy and without any rotini pasta pieces(that most other sbarros put in it) Both items we got were not fresh and definitely not heated properly. Won’t be visiting this location any more. Sbarros at woodfield mall was way better. One star for the soda. It was as expected.

I’m giving this location two stars. Not because it’s deserving of two stars but because the other options aren’t any better and I find myself at Sbarro more often than not while at the mall. Like many Sbarros, this is located at the food court. For this, I can’t hate on Sbarro since they aren’t exactly choosing the décor. I’ll exclude ambiance from my review. The food is pretty bad. They have a few pizzas on display. Some thin, some thick, some stuffed. Unfortunately, I don’t pick the pizza which has the toppings I want. I pick the pizza which looks the freshest. Love mushrooms on my pizza. But since most people don’t, that one cycles very infrequently so it looks dry. Last time I was there they did warm up the pizza for me. Then comes when they ring up the bill. A piece of pizza and a drink totals up to around $ 6-$ 8. I appreciate there is, and should be, a convenience premium. But easily $ 10 for a sub-par piece of pizza and a fountain drink is a bit much. When I found out that Sbarro was declaring bankruptcy, I said«Well, people don’t want to spend $ 10 on bad pizza. Huh.» Maybe they should reexamine their recipes similar to what Domino’s did. That may bump them to a three star review.
