Just updating my experience with David Sabella. I’ve been taking with him with support from his associate teachers for like 2 years now and I sound MUUUUUUCH better and am really able to do so many things with my voice, not just stuff I haven’t been able to do in like 20 years, but also new stuff (for me) like belting — and all of it, aside from maybe 8 sessions I did in person on two trips to NYC, has been via online (Skype and Oovoo in my case).
So now, guess what? I’m moving to NYC in part to study with David in person. He’s the Real Deal, kids! Definitely worth the money (and very reasonably priced considering the prestige of his studio and quality of education you get).
PS He also has a location very close to Penn Station in Manhattan.

David helped me find my voice and get over my subconscious fears concerning singing. He helped me with so much of my life and career along the way. He is thorough, compassionate, honest, personal, warm, talented and an all-​around great human being. I haven’t studied with him in a while but sense that I will be again in the very near future.
