Nita’s Beauty Salon II

Let me start off by saying that I’ve been going to the Kearny location for years and I absolutely LOVE Lilly and Ana especially for my spa pedicures!
The reason for my two stars is strictly just for them. I have gotten my lip waxed there (which is done on a station in which they do hair in front of everyone by the way) and the WHOLE right side was burned off! I should’ve known because the girl looked like she had no clue what she was doing — I was just being lazy and didn’t feel like doing it myself at home like I usually do, so I guess I had the fault.
But the REAL reason why this establishment is going to the ground is because of the owner Nita!!! She is the NASTIEST and most MISERABLE person and business owner!!! It’s gotten to the point where I can’t relax during my spa pedicures because she’s constantly complaining and talking down to her workers WHILE THEYRE WORKING ON CLIENTS! How unprofessional! My best friend is leaving for vacation and she stopped by Nita’s for a quick eye brow threading where she specifically said «please don’t thin them I just need them cleaned up» and apparently Nita didn’t like her request but what completely nasty and my best friend is now going to Brazil with HALF the beautiful eyebrows she usually has. TERRIBLE! And to top it off, when you pay the owner throws your change on the counter and doesn’t have the respect to even look at you. If you don’t like being here, GO BACK TO INDIA AND LET YOUR WORKERS FIND SOMETHING BETTER FOR THEMSELVES!

Tried to go to their kearny location on 2 separate occasions. Both horrible.
The first time I called them up and booked an appointment with them for the next day first thing in the morning as I live across the street from them. I wake up early walk across to my appointment and show up 5 mins early. I walk in and the 3 women who are there stop and look at me and only one speaks. I tell her I am there for a blow out and I had booked my appointment the day before. She tries to ask me if I really made an appointment insinuating I was at the wrong place. I showed her my cell phone and pressed the dial button and the phone to the shop starts ringing. Yes, I called and booked a stinking appointment! So she starts looking in this book that I guess is an appointment book and starts yelling at the girls that everyone is way too unorganized. I then ask how long I have to wait to get my hair done and she asks can I come back in an hour. I said sure left and didn’t go back.
The second time I walked into see about getting my eyebrows done first thing in the morning again and again was met with confusion almost like they had no clue they offered eyebrow services. I asked how long would it take to get my eyebrows done and the lady at the desk said a ridiculous time again. I left and never looked back.
Please hire someone with a clue.

Listen, if I could give this place NO STARS, I absolutely would.
This is place is a 5 minute drive from my house and I figured I was in desperate need of a gel mani so I decided to try this place out.
I WILL NEVER EVER STEP FOOT INSIDE THERE AGAIN.
First when I walked in, there was one girl there who looked like she might’ve been 18 yrs old. Her phone kept vibrating and she kept stopping my nails to check her texts and we basically did my whole mani in complete silence because she barely spoke any english.
So, I get my gel mani… It chipped before I got home… seriously, I kid you not, I lost half a finger of gel polish before I even finished my 5 minute drive home!
Before the end of the week, all my fingers were chipped and some were even gone. It looked like my mani was months old and it wasn’t even a week old.
I can’t speak for their other services but gel manicure is not their forte and based on the quality for their gel mani, I wouldn’t even dare let them touch my hair or my eyebrows.

I’ve been getting my eyebrows threaded for about almost 9 years now. I’ve been to many places and overall this is the best eyebrow threading thus far. Only $ 7 for the eyebrow threading. They also have another location on 227 Kearny Ave Kearny, NJ
