The best of bloomfield! The service is a million times friendlier than Copaco and the selection is bigger than Crystal Wine & Spirit Shoppe (even though they offer great service too!). Ended up picking the Sam Adams IPAology and some Dogfish Namaste. Prices are fair and I love that they support local businesses! Hooker and Back East are present for beer lovers as well as Onyx and Waypoint from their respective distilleries. Customer service was really great too. There are plenty of parking spots (private lot) and they close at 9pm everyday but Sunday (5pm). We have also gotten a keg from here once, so they do offer that! Very convenient.

Short and sweet. This place is on my way home from my office and I probably pick up beer here weekly. The only other thing I’ve purchased there is an occassional bottle of «buttershots». The beer selection is decent but not the very best. One of their strongest suits is, they have a nice selection of locally brewed beers from Hooker and Back East. When I can’t find the Hooker Munich in a 6 pack anywhere in my town (W. Hartford) full of MANY decent liquor stores I KNOW that Bloomfield will have it. My favorite beers are low alcohol IPAs (such as Stone Go-​To or Founders All Day). I think Bloomfield Discount Liquors has only 1 low alcohol IPA, a Goose Island. No matter… because they have my other favorite, Guinness in an 8 pack of Pint Cans which you don’t see often.
The folks who work there are very welcoming and friendly and it’s definitely a neighborhood joint with a neighborhood feel.

If you’re looking for a great place to stock up, visit Bloomfield Discount Liquors. It’s a go-​to place that I know will have exactly what I want with great service!
Though it’s tucked behind the Wintonbury Shops, Bloomfield Discount Liquors is a fantastic find. It’s an excellent stop to stock up on your beverages as it has a wide selection.
The staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable. They offer tips to make your special treats even better, and maintain the store very well. On each visit, a staff member comes up and asks if I need any help finding or getting anything and works efficiently to ring me up. These workers always leave a positive impression!

Pretty nice selection. Stopped in tonight to pick up a bottle of Sangria for later in the week. A pleasant guy showed us around the store and found the exact brand we were looking for.
I liked the personal touch and the friendly way we were treated. Nice sales guy. Nice guy at the register. Good experience all around

Their selection alone warrants a top rating, regardless of whether you seek beer, wine, or liquor. Never once have I left without finding either the exact item I sought or a more-​than-​suitable equivalent.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, meaning someone can always make a recommendation that will both open you up to a new brand and meet your needs.
Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, the store is willing to order in items upon request, making this an ideal destination for those with particular tastes.
