If I could give this place less than one star I would. I have waited a year to see if time would fade my anger at the experience I had there. The staff has NO competency regarding patient anxiety and if you want to be treated like a human with emotions, GO ELSEWHERE.
Upon finding out I would have to be sedated for the extraction of wisdom teeth, I made it clear that I have severe anxiety surrounding needles and IV treatments, usually resulting in fainting. They told me it would be fine, just get it over with. Being in severe pain, I naturally agreed. A week later (after taking ibuprofen as often as allowed until the day of) I show up for surgery, properly prepared, and of course start hyperventilating and crying once I sit down in the surgery room.
Did I mention they told me I was absolutely not allowed any gas to relax me, nor would they let me take any anti-​anxiety medication?
As if sympathy is not allowed in their facilities, the surgeon refused to enter the room and immediately told someone (not me, but in front of me) that they cannot operate on «someone when they get like this». My father had to negotiate for a refund on my deposit as they insisted my only option [for wisdom tooth surgery!] was to go to the ER. We eventually found a wonderful place in Oxford (wish I could recall the name) that would take me last minute and not only let me drink water but gave me Xanax, a warm blanket, and yes, nitrous oxide.
