Days Inn Blakely

I wish there were negative stars. This hotel was the absolute worst in every way imaginable. After settling in our bed my mother noticed a huge roach walk across the tv stand. After I killed it I noticed baby roaches crawling near the refrigerator. When I notified the front desk clerk she said the place is regularly exterminated for roaches and the night shift manager offered a 50% discount and said «you can stay or go». During the conversation I mentioned I am a savvy internet user and would not give pleasing reviews on such sites as Unilocal,trip advisor etc. at this time he hung up the phone on me. I was not satisfied nor did I want to stay there. My family and I proceeded to check out of the hotel after speaking with the manager on duty told us we were «average» people and «you people» are just trying to get a free room and even threatened to call the police because we requested our money back. Unfortunately, I am unable to post pictures of the roaches on this site. Needless to say my family had traveled from Wilmington, DE to visit my mothers hometown of Blakely. I will never come near this establishment again. We will inform our friends of the condition of this hotel and urge them from hosting family reunions, class reunions etc. here.
