I went in to look at a new hard tail since my last one had seen better days. The staff was awesome and super knowledgable. I originally wanted a Giant but ended up with a Trek. Super happy with the bike and the service. Not only were the sales staff helpful but the service department knew their stuff about upgrading the hydraulic disc brakes.

Went in for some items for my kids bikes. The three employees there didn’t even lift their heads when I walked in. When I approached them I have the impression that I was inconveniencing them. They didn’t have what I wanted, but said they could have it the next day and promised to call me. 2 days later no call. I called them, and the wrong part was delivered. They said they will place another order and call me the next day. 2 days later, no call. I called them and they had no idea what order I was referring to. They said they would investigate and call me back. I said I’d hold. A few minutes later they said they didn’t order the part, but would do so. I told them forget. I went to Sunrise Cycle, and couldn’t have been happier with the service and pricing. Thank you Sunrise Cycle. Penn’s failure earned you a new, life long customer.

Terrible bicycle shop. My father spent close to $ 200 for a full tune up on an old Schwinn 10-speed and all they basically did was put new tubes and tires on it(which I supplied), added new bar tape and maybe new cables. They didn’t make any of the adjustments he had asked of them and worst of all, they didn’t even tighten the front wheel! My father is close to 70 years old. If that front wheel would have came off while he gave it a test ride, he could have very likely been severely injured or even died. This place will never get my business and I hope others can find a better place to go as well.

I stopped in yesterday, and, while I was disappointed to not be greeted until I had been there about 5 minutes(and there was another employee working within eyeshot of the door), once I met Casey, she was very helpful in answering my(stupid) bike newbie questions. She made some recommendations for me within my price range, and was even able to track down a previous year model on sale in another branch and has had it transferred to Blaine(within less than 24 hours). I am looking forward to going back and taking that bike out for a test ride!

Having worked at a bike shop I can tell you there are two types of bike shop employees. Those you want to help you and those who don’t and really don’t care. The staff at this location are condescending and completely unhelpful unless you want to buy a new bike and then they are all too willing to help you. And the manager there is the worst of them. If you only need service this would be a good location to check out, otherwise find one of their other many locations. Too bad as they’re one of the only bike shops in the area.
