Really underwhelming. I brought my 9yo daughter there and she was pretty bummed as well. We sit down and the waitress asks if we’d like to start with some buffalo wings. I said no. I order a salad and my daughter gets a chicken sandwich. Neither were worth getting out of the car for. After we eat the waitress comes up to is and asks if we’d like to order cheese cake for dessert. Who the hell is this restaurant trying to fatten up? I realize that the waitress is order by likely her manager to push appetizers and dessert, but I found it annoying and a little insulting that twice this restaurant had their waitress try to up sell me. Focus your efforts on what I actually ordered. If you can handle that then we may consider meal add on’s. What they manage to achieve is my putting this restaurant on our families«do not go list» I have them 2 stars as they have a huge menu, and I’m sure there would have been something to order on there that would have been a good meal. This place is likely not a total lost cause, but I’ll never know for sure. Not going back.

We had been meaning to try Green Mill for a long time, and finally got a round to it. I have to say, I was a little disappointed. The way everyone had raved about the pizza and the food, I guess my expectations were too high. If you are fan of Chicago Deep Dish, such as Pizza Uno or other popular versions… skip this one… you will be hurt and disappointed. However, it is still a fairly decent pizza by local standards. The place was clean, the wait staff was friendly, and overall it’s not bad… not off my list, but I won’t be a regular here either.

Our booth had a video-poker television in it, which made the place feel trashy. The pizza was rather unremarkable. Service was cheery, prompt, and attentive.

Three words… JIMBEAMWINGS! The best sauce ever on wings! I’m not a fan of anything with spice, so these wings are PERFECT! I actually don’t order them just as wings though. I order the buffalo chicken wrap and substitute the jim beam wings instead of the buffalo. SODELICIOUS! My family generally likes going for happy hour… cheap apps and drinks, but what I order doesn’t apply to the discounts. The people are very nice and they actually get to know you(or maybe we just go here too much!) Love this location! (P.S– they have a comfy patio!)

The service at this green mill is the worst I’ve seen at the 5 or 6 Green Mills I’ve been too. We sat in the bar area and the restaurant wasn’t busy, but for some reason our server was constantly running all over the place, and we seemed to be a burden. When our food came one of the meals in our group was wrong, when we finally were able to flag the server down, she said she was«super sorry» and she would have it fixed as quickly as possible. Finally after everyone was done with their meals, his food came, and he had to sit there and eat while we just sat there. Besides her«super sorry» nothing was offered and if it was a quick fix I would have understood that, but clearly our dinner was ruined by someone’s mistake that wasn’t ours yet we continued to seem to be a burden to the server. When I’m in town next it might be best to avoid Green Mill, or at the very least, this location.

The food here is alright. We’ve been ordering here quite a bit within the last few years and it’s always been hit or miss. Sometimes the food is great, other times it just wasn’t desirable. We’ve also ordered delivery from them a few times and it has always been great in that regard. We just can’t seem to find anything on the menu that WOW’s us, which is especially painful, considering the price of the food. Overall, the food is decent, there are a few things on the menu that are amazing. But a lot of the items on the menu is mediocre, so make sure that you know you like what you order before you order it, considering the price.

Tried their delivery service! Right on time! Food was hot. Ordered the wings three ways with Diablo, Buffalo, and Jim Beam with ranch and blue cheese dipping sauce. They were all delicious in different ways and the wings were crispy which you don’t always get in delivery. Also ordered the cilantro lime salad which is low in calories to help balance out the wings! Would like to eat at their restaurant and try other items, especially on kids eat free Tuesday!

Got wings threw ways. All three ways were amazing. 3 cheese nachos were very good as well. Big menu with plenty of options. I would recommend to anyone looking for good wings and pizza.

I work in Blaine and we order Green Mill all the time and the quesadillas and calzones are my absolute favorite. We order them on Fridays and absolutely pig out. The delivery guys are very friendly and already know us by name.

Came here on a Friday night around 7:45 hoping for a good meal. Sadly though I should have chosen the Applebee’s next door. Had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, which made zero sense to me because there were empty tables scattered througout. The waiter was great. both attentive and friendly. Food, however, wasn’t worth the money. I got a burger and asked for it to be well done. The inside had a hint of pink to it, while the outside was burnt. Fries were warm, but not hot like they should have been. I can get a better tasting and perfectly cooked burger at other places for less money so I was pretty disappointed. Upon leaving, there were three workers standing by the door and none of them wished us a good night or said a single word to us. This is something that will often determine whether I visit a place again, and they failed miserably. Only reason they get two stars instead of one. and that’s due to the waiter. Everything else was terrible. Not recommended.

Stopped in for a Friday lunch at noon. Seating was immediate as it was not very busy. Our beverage orders were taken immediately and kept refilled throughout the meal We ordered a pizza and it arrived pretty quick and was tasty. After our meal we sat and talked for a long time and there was no pressure to leave. Worked out great for a lunch.

This is the only Green Mill I have ever been to and I can honestly say it left with with no desire to try others. The first time I went I wasn’t very hungry so I just got a house salad and soup. The soup was their chicken wild rice which was cold, had a horrible after taste and the looked like it was from the bottom of a pre packaged lettuce mix. Brown and devoid of any flavor. If they can’t get a soup and house salad right I had little hope for them to get anything right. I did end up going back one more time with some work people and the experience was even worse. Our waiter was ridiculously inattentive and seemed to have no idea what anything was on the menu. I’m not a sob about my drinks but I did find it off putting that they put an orange slice in the Honey Weiss that took me a half hour to get. This time I ordered one of their wraps. It wasn’t terrible, wasn’t great. Just an average wrap. It took us over an hour to get our food and there was a table seated next to us who had been there before us(quite a while before us by the sounds of it) and they didn’t get their food until shortly before we got ours. That is over an hour wait for one pizza. For their sake I hope it was the best pizza they had ever had though I seriously doubt it was.

I’m a pretty big fan of ALL Green Mills, but I have to say that this one is definitely on the top of that list — too bad it’s so far out of my way. I’ve gone to this one a few times with my friend that lives closer to it, and I haven’t been let down. They have great service — very fast and friendly. And the food is always fast, hot and fresh. Last time I went there it was later dinner time — maybe 6:30/7 p.m. and it was busy and we sat in the bar. We were waited on right away and the waiter even suggested a drink to us that was on special, which was awesome. I had their veggie burger and it was DELICIOUS. One of the best I’ve ever had out — and all portions were generous and filling. Go here. It’s great.

I just met a friend here for lunch yesterday, but I have eaten at this Green Mill quite a bit in the past. Usually I dig into some boneless wings slathered in their amazing Jim Beam wing sauce with ranch dressing on the side for dipping – that is complete and utter bliss right there! But, in an attempt to eat a little lighter yesterday, I opted for the chicken caesar wrap with a side salad. The house salad was huge – I actually wasn’t able to finish it by the time my wrap arrived. I tried the cucumber dill dressing, and it really made what would otherwise be a boring salad into a little flavor explosion. The wrap was good – not drenched in caesar dressing like can be the case at some places. The chicken was good an plentiful too. Oddly enough, one of my favorite parts of the meal was the tomato basil tortilla they use – it was very flavorful, light, and not dry at all. My complaint with some wraps is that they’re drowning not only in dressing, but blanketed in a humongous flour tortilla! But no complaints here. There were quite a few other new items on the menu that have a real possibility to be delicious, so I look forward to future trips here. In particular, if you like salads, they seem to have a good variety of non-cookie-cutter ones. Also, I like that they will substitute grilled chicken for beef on any of their burgers on the menu. I just might have to try one of those too. The service was good – nothing outstanding. We were there at what would normally be the height of the lunch hour, but there were a lot of empty tables, so it would’ve concerned me if they’d had trouble taking care of us. On a side note: my friend had the chicken stir fry salad, and she enjoyed the flavors, but she said there was a bit too much fatty chicken pieces in it for her liking. I too hate chewy meat, so I can relate – but thankfully there was none of that rubbery stuff in my wrap. Hopefully it was just a fluke, but something to look out for.

My friends and I used to make this place our go-to restaurant. The food tastes amazing, and going after 9:00PM is a no-brainer because most of the menu becomes half price(wings, apps, large pizza). The deep dish pizza is my favorite dish, along with their wings, specifically the Parmesan garlic ones. However, a few months ago, the restaurant took the deep dish pizza off the half off menu, eliminated some appetizers, and did away with the p-garlic wings! Unbelievable! We spoke to the waiters a couple times about this, and they agreed that it was unfortunate. No comment on the drinks, because I was underage when I went here. I like the staff there, and the food is always cooked right(at least from what I can remember). However, I don’t go there anymore due to the stupid decisions made by the higher-ups.

Service was friendly, but a little inattentive. The restaurant was empty, so I’m not sure why that was the case. I ordered a spinach and sausage calzone. The calzone was under cooked; the top was doughy and needed a few more minutes. The price was a little steep for what you got, in comparison to other calzone prices. The sausage must have been put in a food processor as it was almost undetectable. The spinach most likely came out of a frozen bag and was pretty flavorless. I think I would have liked the calzone more if it hadn’t been filled with a bland marinara that overpowered the rest of the fillings. I’ve had pizza here before which was decent, but I’ll pass on the calzone if I come back.
