The C Shop is the most wonderful place in Birch Bay! It’s only open durning the summer and some holidays.
The pizza!!! Omg yum!

This is just the cutest little summer shop ever! I came to birch bay to stay at a beach house for a week and the C shop was just two miles away. It had such yummy little sweets and their homemade ice cream is to die for ! Wish I lived here just so I could get sweets all the time!

Such a wonderful place with wonderful staff. From their fresh baked cinnamon rolls to pizza this place is great. Very community driven and always friendly. Stop by and try everything, you won’t be disappointed.

Wow I have always loved this place however I do NOT recommended the restraunt side. We have been sitting here over half an hour and someone who came in behind us just walked out the door with the exact same pizza we ordered. We I went to the counter to check on our over $ 65 order I was met with rude and lies, I was advised the person who just walked out with the pizza ordered before us when I watched him walk through the door after we ordered! Then she rudely told me it takes 35 minutes for pizza (when we were told 25 when we ordered) they were working on it. I don’t expect a restraunt to not make mistakes and/​or be really busy slowing down service. However I do expect to not be met with attitude and lies when I politely check on our order.

Our family has been coming to the C shop since the 80’s, and we all have our favorites. The chocolate is just chocolate, but the caramel is made fresh on site and it is fantastic. It’s my favorite!
We stop in plenty of times during the summer, its about a half mile away and makes a perfect evening walk to get a snow cone or an ice cream cone for the kids.
Closed in the winter (Because Birch Bay becomes somewhat of a ghost town) but we enjoy it to the fullest during the summer!

Very good ice cream. Good selection, but wish there were some other stuff there, but its not a big deal though. The price was decent. Very good and friendly staff. Only real fun place in birch bay though.

The ice cream is very good. I had lemon chiffon pie and thoroughly enjoyed it.
The pizza is… ok but nothing to write home about. Similar to a frozen DiGiorno pizza with a tougher crust.
As tourist fare goes it is fine but don’t go out of your way for the pizza. That said, at least according to Unilocal,there aren’t a lot of better dinner options nearby.
Ok also, they advertise great coffee and cinnamon rolls, but they don’t open until 11am. What is up with that? If they were in it to make money at least they’d open an outside window to coffee and rolls.

What a nice place.
First the owner here is such a nice guy. He was so great with my kids they are still talking about the ride in the Kayak pulled by Sock-​Zie… They also loved all the tricks his owner had him do.
This is one of these places where you walk in and everyone is sincerely kind and nice and you just feel at home.
Their Candy selection is great, my kids loved their snow cones and there ice cream was really really good.
I wish there was a place this cook near my house.
