I tried Roma for the first time yesterday because I saw them listed on one of the food ordering apps I started using. I was really craving a burger and was pleasantly surprised to see they delivered burgers. I got the bacon cheeseburger and at first sight I wasn’t impressed, but it tasted way better then it looked like it would and I’d def order it again. The fries were just okay to me. I also got the garlic knots app — delicious, soft, and doughy. The delivery took longer than I expected but the food quality made up for it. Planning on trying more things from Roma for sure.

I love Roma. My roommate and I always choose to go here if we get pizza– it’s quick, the pizza and strombolis are delicious, and the people there are great too. Also, I definitely recommend the garlic knots. And the Cheese Steak with the Works— delicious as well. If you are looking for somewhere new to try in Blacksburg or if you’re just hungry– definitely try Roma.

Got delivery of breaded mushrooms and stuffed shells made with Alfredo sauce. The breaded mushrooms appetizer was just as expected and came with about 15 large mushrooms. The shells were plump and the Alfredo sauce was thick, creamy and had great flavor. The order came with a large side of garlic bread which when delivered was chewy but otherwise tasty. Would order here again.

This place has gone downhill pretty fast. Earlier it was a quality place with great service and tasty pizza. Since it has brought in ”help” (most likely relatives) the service and the food has taken deep dive.
Twice it has happened that I ordered thin crust pizza and twice they delivered regular pizza. To top it off this time it was wasn’t even cut into slices.
The attitude here now is that Roma doesn’t give a damn about its customers. This is more for sad for me than them. There is really very few places I enjoyed eating in Blacksburg and this was one of them. Ahhhh…

I’ve ordered from here a few times for delivery. The food is good and when they accidentally sent me the wrong thing they didn’t bat an eye to re-​deliver. Only thing is delivery is a bit pricey. Lots of options on the menu though so it has become a go-​to for our family.

Great little place for take out. This has been my go-​to for pizza for a while now, and if I’m feeling like a Philly, their Mexican Cheese Steak is the way to go. I recently picked up some pizza while my brother-​in-​law was in town, and he was seriously impressed. Considering he’s from Jersey originally, I trust he has a good back ground for comparison.

A few weeks ago I wanted some delivery pizza because my kitchen was out of commission. I decided to take another chance on Roma and was glad I did. One of the key differences between my bad summer experience and my good fall pizza was that the bad pizza came at the end of a delivery route — it was only warm. I ordered again and I must have been the first stop the delivery driver made, because it was steaming hot, probably right out of the oven 4 minutes before. The flavors snapped and the ingredients were good quality. I’m happy to give Roma a better review and hope they keep it consistent.

As an admitted pizza snob from the suburbs of Manhattan, I cannot in good conscience call this good pizza with any real conviction. But! I will say that I was not supremely disappointed by our order from Roma Pizza and because they deliver, I would rank it above Benny Marzano’s. I will have to try their «New York Style» to make a real comparison…
We ordered the «Greek New York Style Pizza,» whose name I won’t even comment on, but whose ingredients were: mozzarella cheese, feta cheese, spinach, tomato, garlic, and «pizza sauce.» It was delivered hot and the ingredients were of good quality. The crust was a bit cardboard-​like, and the cheese was a bit heavy, but I was pleasantly surprised.

best pizza in town, (well maybe ceritanos is better), but its not cheap like dominoes or pizza hut.
i wouldnt stray from the pizza, ive seen some pretty bad looking food coming from this place.
but their pizza is so damn good. you most definetly get what you pay for.
i hear all the jersey/​NY kids saying blacksburg doesnt have good pizza, try roma, its up to par.

Here for a recruiting trip with my company and was craving for some type of food with marina. Spaghetti with meat sauce was good. The only reason I am giving a 4 star is because the delivery driver didn’t have any cash/​change on him… My meal was $ 12 and only had a $ 20 — hope I made the guy smile by giving him a 66% tip! lol

It used to be the best in Blacksburg (until Sal’s moved in) and before it was sold and bought by a new group of owners. The pizza now is NOT NY-​style pizza and something between CiCi’s and Pizza-​hut. It is okay, but nothing close to NY-​style like it used to be. I lived in NJ most of my life and when we moved to Blacksburg, I was so happy to find this place only for it to be changed to dissapointment. :(

Some reviews say this, place is closed but I ordered from there last night. This pizza is as close to my beloved authentic new York pizza as I’ve had in a year. Both the ny style and jersey style thin crust is good. In the midst of 5 dollar pizzas it is more expensive but you get what you pay for here. SWVA 5 stars, nyc 4.

This place has really great pizza. I’d like to say that they probably have the best pizza in Blacksburg but I am upset with the size of the pizzas (too small) and price (too high).
I’ve explored the menu a bit with sandwiches etc. and haven’t been too happy so I would stick with the pizza if I was you.

I used to deliver pizza there and it has spoiled me forever. Never again will I be able to eat fake, cardboard crust chain pizza anymore. Fresh, hand tossed dough, delicious sauce and the best cheese. Sicillian pizzas are excellent with a nice golden crust but not excessively buttery, like Pizza Hut. The cheesesteaks are the best outside of Philly and this is one of the only restaurants I’ve seen, outside of Jersey, that serves pork roll sandwiches. Not the greatest atmosphere but the food is top notch.
