Room was clean and breakfast was good. Aside from that the heater constantly kicks on and off all night, emergency vehicles sirens go right by and are loud, there was only a small bottle of shampoo no conditioner no lotion no mouth wash… good enough for the price though I guess.

Rude service, worst ever. Came in, safe was not working. Gentleman Said it would be fixed, but it wasn’t. Had to get someone to do it later At Night. Fridge they bought to the room wasn’t working, so they had to bring another. On Middle Day, some clown knocked on door at 11AM, asking us to Check out. We had to Tell him we were staying over. One of my pet peeves is people knocking on my door. i hate it. When we came back Middle Night, found out ROOMWASN’T EVENCLEANED! Spoke to manager, Carleen about it The Next Day, she was quite curt and rude, and offered a trite, generic apology. This is highly unacceptable, and i would NEVER stay here again, nor would I recommend this place. When I left, i observed maids banging on people’s doors, Telling then to hurry up and Check out. I guess u get what u pay for. Horrible service, horrible hotel. Fail. Don’t stay here.

This hotel put my 65 year old disabled husband on the 3rd floor(we requested ground floor, and they did not bother calling us to let us know that their was no ground floor room available, but certainly took our money [we booked on-line through Wyndham Rewards]. We checked in late(around 11 pm). We were awoken at 9 am by a knock on the door and someone saying«just checking». I called the front desk and was immediately informed by Rachel(the front desk clerk) that it was housekeeping checking to see if anyone was in the room. I confirmed with her that check out was indeed 11 am and inquired as to why the housekeeping was knocking on my door. She stated that if we did not wish to be disturbed, we should have put the«do not disturb» sign on the door. I stated that I did not think that I would be disturbed by housekeeping before I checked out. I talked to the manager of the hotel, Carleen, who apologized, but kept with their protocol of knocking on doors unless the do not disturb sign is out. WOULDNOTRECOMMENDTHISHOTEL… offers very poor service and is not customer oriented.

As S8 properties go at first glance this one seems pretty typical, decent but not sparkling hotel rooms with a good bed. However after spending a night I have discovered some issues. The first issue is noise — both from the hallway and from the room directly above. The door lets in all sorts of noise from people passing by and the floor of the room above squeaks anytime the patron above walks about their room — you will know as soon as that person gets up in the morning or if they pace before they go to bed. Other than noise the place is pretty much a typical S8 location. For me the noise is a big enough issue that I will not stay here again.

If all you care about is price then u may be ok. Customer service is fairly non-existent. Room cleaning is below average. Room has an odor, my co-workers rooms do as well, and the amount of dust is bad. They are not truly pet friendly either. A fee is fine but pets aren’t even allowed in a room while kenneled. I asked if I was allowed to leave mine in my room so I could have supper and was told no then given attitude when I asked more about their rule. Breakfast is soggy waffles, soggy sausage, yogurt and cereal. Wife tried to eat breakfast at 9:15, 45 minutes before breakfast was over and it was already put away. Had I not needed a room on short notice i wouldn’t have even given this place a short. I travel fort Work so a one star for this place might even be stretching it to be honest.

Decent motel, clean, staff helpful. Décor dated and a little worn, though not bad by Super 8 standards. Watch out for phone and safe fees tacked on in addition to the quoted rates, even if you don’t use them.

sure, this place isn’t a fancy hotel… but it’s in north dakota. what did you expect? we showed up late afternoon ahead of a major storm. we were moving across the country and had pets. less than $ 50 for a clean room with cable and no pet fee? $ 2.99 wireless access? awesome! the girl at the desk was friendly and really helpful, it’s near an on-ramp, and there’s a gas station RIGHTTHERE. if i ever find myself in bismarck, nd again(god forbid), i’d check here first.

This hotel offers the best value in Bismarck. It’s probably the second cheapest hotel in the city, but unlike this other one, this one is actually clean. It’s very plain. There’s no mini-fridge or microwave in the room(although there is one available in the breakfast room, which is open all day). It’s limited. There is a coffee maker in the room. However, this hotel offers the basics, and it’s cheap. It is not extremely clean but they try to do a good job, which is the most important thing. The housekeeping staff is very good. And you can walk to Starbucks from here! Pros: Free wireless(which works very well too). Cons: The only downside is that the breakfast is really limited… especially if you get there late. Parking lot was a little too small The slamming doors are constant. This is the best hotel in Bismarck if you are on a budget.
