The pizza just doesn’t taste very good. My kids ate it but even they didn’t finish it and my kids finish everything.

Ordered delivery take out. We ordered a BBQ chicken pizza and plain cheese. We were quoted 45 minutes and our order didn’t show up a minute less. The pizza arrived hit and looked extra crispy per our request. Both pizzas tasted good, but not the best I have had. The BBQ could have used more BBQ sauce. It hardly tasted of it but all other ingredients seemed fresh. The cheese had a TON of cheese. More than I would prefer so would likely ask them to scale it back next time. With limited delivery options in my area(non chain) this one will do the trick.

First time there and tried it because I had a coupon. I wont be going back. It wasn’t that busy and we ordered a pizza with sausage, green pepper, extra cheese and extra sauce with pepperoni on half. We ended up getting a pizza with sausage, green pepper, extra cheese, no extra sauce, pepperoni on the whole pizza, and ham on the whole pizza. The workers were more concerned with making food for themselves than the customers. When we got our pizza, it was very very greasy. After eating once piece with a nice crunchy crust, the rest was soggy with greasy. The pizza tray and styrofoam plates were covered in grease. We asked for a box to take our pizza home, and the girl at the front desk gave us a dirty used pizza box. We ended up just leaving our pizza there.

i have had the pizza a few times and it was great. however what keeps me coming back is the Greek salad. i do not live close by anymore but whenever i am in the neighborhood i stop by for a salad to go. if they bottled the Greek dressing they would make millions. quick service and fresh food.

I’m from New York and up there they take pizza seriously. Can’t say I have found a pizza place in Hoover that takes pride and passion in their pizza. The pizza I got from this place was sub-par. It was kind of tasteless and looked like a toddler made it. But I guess if you aren’t a picky pizza eater go here. I wont be back.

Sanpeggio’s is located on the corner of a plaza that almost seems forgotten. When I picked up my pizza from here, there was no one in the restaurant and no one sitting in the nice patio they had at the side of the building. I can’t vouch for their service because I was in and out of there faster than a flu shot. Again with the marinara sauce, they didn’t provide enough but it was delicious. The pizza crust was uneven in that parts of the dough took up a majority of a single slice. I prefer more flavor than crust. The half Dan’s spinach meatball consisted of meatball, spinach, and mushroom, and red onion. I love how meaty this mixture was. The other half was Spinach and Bacon Alfredo consisting of Alfredo sauce, cheese medley, bacon, and spinach. The selling point were the bacon chunks and rich Alfredo sauce giving this entire pizza a home run. Refrigerator Test: stale yet satisfying!

My favorite pizza in bham. The negative reviews must be the competition. All of our friends and family love this restaurant. Owners and staff are also very nice and it is a family run business. It is a once a week stop for us. If you want a great hand made pizza(this is why it takes 30 min) then this is the place.

The pizza is actually pretty good but the management and the restaurant is horrible! If you get it delivered then you might be ok. Don’t go and eat there! I had to clean our table off first of all. Then I sat down and started thinking my legs were getting really itchy and felt like something was biting me. I looked down to find ants crawling all over my legs and then they were starting on my daughter’s. I had several ant bites and went up to the counter and asked for the manager. When i told her that there were ants and we had been bitten by them, she said«i’m sorry». They cleaned them up and we moved to a different table but that was it. Really? I’m sorry! If someone had gotten eaten by ants at my restaurant i would at least say«dinner is on me» and try to figure out what else i could do to redeem the horrible experience. «i’m sorry» just doesn’t cut it!
