I grew up around cars, on cars, in cars, fixing, selling, studying cars; cars is the family business (back home), and my most loved area of expertise!
I never trust mechanics shops, as a principle, and nobody should.
That said, I can tell you that you would hardly find a mechanics shop more trustworthy than Rex.
I was, of course, reluctant to bring in my car for a major problem, but I walked out of the shop with a car working in perfect conditions, fixed at the fastest rate possible, having spent the least amount of money the work demanded, and with a customer service quality above any standard.
They know their job, they love it, and they care about their customers and money.

I’ve been a loyal Rex’s customer since the day Edwards Chevrolet (which I bought my Chevrolet from) told me they no longer worked on my cars model year. They mentioned a shop right down the road that would probably be able to fix my problem. That was the best advice I ever received from a Dealer. Rex keeps my ’91 and ’01 Blazers alive as well as my ’02 Infinity QX4 and my ’77 Corvette. I was in there this morning having my ’09 MB C300 serviced and what did I see but a Corvair Monza getting a complete overhaul. It always amazes me the type of cars I see in there being repaired.
