Had a very sentimental tiny gold chain tangled that I had to get cut off. The repair job was seamless. Sooooo happy!

Not only do they have silver jewelry, but they can order and get anything else you need from precious stones, gold, even wedding rings. Which is where I got mine. You never have to worry about what you’re getting. Joel, the owner is the most honest jeweler I have ever come across. They also do repairs on any jewelry which is a service I have used many times. They’re work is really unbelievable with very fair pricing. All in all I would recommend this jewelry store to anyone.

my go to place for repairs and custom design. Joel has done work for my family for 20 years and always does a stellar job. He has never botched a repair or returned anything less than perfect. He has done multiple custom designs for my parents, including a 20^th wedding anniversary diamond ring. The staff is friendly, they always recognize a return customer and they are all personally invested in the success of the business. Nothing but good things to say about this place.

This place is so great and a hidden treasure in Birmingham. They have a great selection of silver pieces at reasonable prices. I brought a piece to get fixed and the service was amazing. Joel gave me a couple of different options on how to get the look I wanted on a vintage ring I purchase. He was great. I will definitely be making trips here on my days off from work.

With a name like Mount-​N-​Repair, the last thing you would probably think this place is, is a jewelry store. Finding its home on Pierce Street in downtown Birmingham Mount-​N-​Repair, offers shoppers a huge selection of sterling silver jewelry.
This jewelry store claims they offer the best and largest selection of sterling silver jewelry and I have to agree. This well lit store has case upon case of bracelets, rings, necklaces, and earrings from simple to ornate. Mount N-Repair’s selection is certainly one of the perks of shopping here. Another, being the fare prices. I’ve bought several pieces over the last decade or so from Mount-​N-​Repair and they are always well priced and high quality. In addition, the staff is knowledgeable about shapes and what not.
Mount-​N-​Repair not only sells fantastic sliver pieces, but carries a fare hare of amber and turquoise, as well as some cheesy concert memorabilia. I remember many many many moons ago, this joint sold hacky sacks and lots of Grateful Dead paraphernalia. Throughout the years they have gone from a unripe boutique to a mature and flourishing jewelery store. The next time you’re in Birmingham stop into this local gem (horrible pun) and check out their jewels.

God I feel old. I remember when Mount-​N-​Repair was in Shops at the Top. It was the go-​to place to get your cool ying-​yang choker or grateful dead hacky sack.
Thank god that as I have grown up– so has Mount-​N-​Repair. You can still find some concert paraphernalia, but the real come hither attraction of this place is their jewelry and the excellent craftsmanship.
They have gorgeous turquoise pieces! I could get lost for hours looking at all their stuff.
If you ever break any jewelry– as I often do– take it here and there’s a good chance they can fix it.
I’m glad it didn’t fizzle out with most of the other stores at Shops at the Top.

This is a shop that I’ve always sort of thought was a little out of place in Birmingham, but despite that, it’s a great, great store. They’ve got all sorts of stickers for your car, rings, earrings of every size and shape, and body jewelry, too. They’ll fix your jewelry and polish it up. The staff are friendly and the prices are right. If you’re only stopping here, use the parking deck on Pierce Street — free for two hours!
