As someone who has been taken advantage of by unscrupulous mechanics and salespeople at a Firestone, I appreciate trustworthy guys like the ones that own and operate Mays Auto tremendously. I’ve been taking my old truck to them for years and they’ve always done good work for an honest price, I don’t know a lot about cars, so knowing a place that’s not interested in screwing me over means a lot. I highly recommend this shop.

If I ever move from Birmingham, one of the hardest things will be finding a mechanic I trust like I do these guys. Family owned, they are good & trustworthy. It’s a place I, as a female, don’t feel weird going to by myself. It’s not in the greatest part of town, but May’s is respected by the surrounding community. Besides being trustworthy & good at what they do, they will give you the best prices. I wouldn’t recommend any other mechanics.
