Today is New Years Day, the Cracker Barrel on colonade was extremely busy but no matter how busy they were they still found time to get my to go order in and correct thank you to the young lady who took my to go order. That’s why I gave it 5 stars

The manager waited an hour to tell us that we wouldn’t be seated for another hour after our 30 minute wait. They do not have it together over there. Very confusing operation.

Went to Cracker Barrel on 11/20/2015 for breakfast, Great wait staff, I ordered two eggs over easy, hash browns, biscuits, sausage and milk. First of all the milk came with a frosted ice cold mug, which was awesome, the eggs were perfectly cooked and the hash brown casserole was to die for, the biscuits were hot and fluffy. simply the best breakfest I have had from a restaurant in a long time.

DONOTEATHERE. Where to begin… Poor service. Poor management. I guess we should have realized when we found a Cracker Barrel with no cars in the parking lot and no wait on a Saturday evening that something was off. First we had to wait about 5 minutes before we were seated. The place was empty but our party of 6 seemed to throw them a curve. Then they tried to sit us at a table where four of us would have been facing a wall. Craziest seating arrangement ever, keep in mind, they were empty. I refused that and had them move us to another table. The hostess got mouthy about it and toward me specifically so I followed her back up front where I confronted her and asked for a manager. Some weenie guy said he was the manager and defended his waitresses attitude and behavior. I gave up and returned to the table to keep peace in the family. Now that I think about it the manager never even checked in on us. Pathetic. Our waiter from that point in was a pretty nice guy, I think he was Zac, and he tried but with a kitchen as in efficient as this, there wasn’t much he could do. We should have just left but we put in an order. Our food began to arrive in waves. First two of 6 plates arrived. Then half of another order. Then a few minutes later another order came out. Several had ordered eggs so I encouraged them to eat before their eggs got cold. Most of the way through their meal the last two and a half orders arrived. My eggs were cold an cooked incorrectly. Otherwise the food pretty good, normal CB fare. We paid and left with no one ever apologizing for the previous waitresses behavior or even acknowledging it. This places management team needs to be replaced and the staff retrained.

So the wait was really too long so we had to wait staring at crap in the country store for 30 minutes, then we wait to wait another 10 minutes for them to clear our table. Lastly, another 10 minutes for the server to take our drink order. When we DID order, our waitress apparently doesn’t prefer the way we like our eggs cooked and said«yuk»… Seriously? Will not be coming back here anytime soon!

We tried dinner– a ribeye steak, baked potato and house salad. Potato skin was tough and it appeared to be overlooked and reheated. The steak was not a regular ribeye cut– one half was tender, the other tough. Dinner was not what we expected. Go for breakfast.

Horrible food. Worse than any cafeteria food. The only thing that is remotely edible here is breakfast(pancakes and eggs). Service is bad and I question how clean the restaurant is. I had the chicken and dumplings and they were not edible. I also had the meatloaf(It was a sampler). I question whether the meatloaf was thoroughly cooked. Yuck. The food is awful. I would not waste my time.

This is the Cracker Barrel closest to our house. We go here often. Although the service can be hit or miss, the food is always good.

There is something comfortable about Cracker Barrel. You walk in to see a plethora of holiday wares and country music cd’s for sale. It’s one of those places when you’re on the road you want to stop at rather than the shady Rest Area. As for the food. They somehow at whichever location you are at offer you a great breakfast or lunch/dinner menu with food you know will taste exactly how you remember it at that other Cracker Barrel you ate at in that other city you were passing through. My standard go to is Country Fried Steak with 3 veggies of your choice. It’s amazing every time. I have not had a bad experience ever. Oh an the biscuits and cornbread they offer with every meal are always perfect.

Yum yum it was my first time at a Cracker Barrel and I see why they are popular! The inside of the store is good for window shopping at all the artsy crafty items. Most over the top but keeps you busy while you wait for your to go order. The biscuits and grits are to die for.

7:45 Monday night. Said it would be a 15 minute wait for a table. At Cracker Barrel. Really? After 20 minutes, told there was a table, but that we could expect to wait at least a thirty minute wait for food once we were seated. At Cracker Barrel. Really?

Breakfast, lunch, dinner. It doesn’t matter, i want it! You can buy breakfast all day(which is what I did for the first few years of eating there). Being from The South, Cracker Barrel is by far one of my favorite chain restaurants. This golden place in my heart brings me comfort that can be matched by none other than my Aunts’ home cookin’ or the local meat and three restaurants. I wish I could somehow master submit this review for all Cracker Barrels across the country to share the love. I seriously love this restaurant and its atmosphere. I always feel extremely welcome and comfortable when I go to one, and I go as often as I can. Road trips and Cracker Barrel are like flip flops and the beach. They go great together. What’s funny is that the parking lot is almost always full; I think that’s a good thing.

Interestingly enough this experience wasn’t bad. I really don’t like Cracker Barrel, but this time, my food was great. Has the pancakes-tried to keep it simple.
