Bring Your Own Auto Parts

This is my second time here, the first time I had no problems, so I decided to let them work on my breaks .The only problem was the white guy that worked on my vehicle didn’t know what he was doing .So the head mechanic had to work on my truck. Willie was very professional, it took a little longer then I expected. But the head guy finally got my breaks done .So if you do take your vehicle there, just make sure the head guy works on it.

Unfortunately this is my second one star review in a row. I promise I am not a downer, but I do feel I should inform the public when a business, especially one where people tend to spend mega bank, is no good and should be avoided.
People, if there is no Unilocal review, look for reviews on Google or YP. Even check out the BBB. Unfortunately I did none of these before taking my car here, but fortunately I got my car back before before they tried to touch it.
I stopped in Friday afternoon because it was right across the street from the place I originally had my car worked on that closed. I told Willie Shepherd what had happened, and he said he would take a look at the car and for me to bring it in Monday morning. I dropped my car off with him Monday morning at 7 in the morning. He said he would give me a call by lunch time, and from there we would decide what work should be completed. By 4, he had not called me, so I called him. He informed me that they were half way through and that he would need to have my car until the next day. First flag. Really? Why would my car not be finished with diagnostics after it had been there since the butt crack o’dawn? It was just a diagnostics test. Hook er up to the machine and get er done. Second flag: I said uhhhhhhh ok well can you just tell me what you have found so far. He flat out told me no, and that he would rather finish the test and tell me everything at once. WTF. Really? Whatever. So the next day I waited and waited, no call. I call at 1:30. He tells me he is finished with the diagnostics but he would need to call me back in 15 – 30 minutes. Two hours later and no phone call, I just decide to drive up there and pick up my car. This is ridunkulus.
When we arrive to pick up the car, he immediately starts telling me why he is not finished, but he does it in a condescending way. He spoke to me like I was a toddler, and like he was offended that I wanted my car. He went on to show us log books for the day and said that it takes time to look things up in the computer once the diagnostics are complete. He even said something like he doesn’t mean to speak down to me or whatever, something like that. He acted like it was ridiculous that I expected my car to be finished. First of all, he originally told me it would be done the day before by lunch. So if he can’t manage his shop in a timely manner, it ain’t my fault. As I walked to my car, I was in shock. There were no words.
For the record, this shop has one star reviews on Google and YP and an F with the BBB. 12 complaints, 6 unanswered. They are no longer accredited. Hmm, I wonder why. Not.
So the search for a mechanic/​shop continues. And whatever you do, avoid this place like the plague.
