I’m thinking of a fleece Jacket, quick name the first brand that comes to mind? Yep, you guessed it. This is probably one of the most well known outdoorsy cold weather brand in the world. First you get the fleece jacket, then you buy the outer shell. The zippers on both the shell and the fleece/down Jacket interlocks, creating a heavenly combination of keeping your body warm in the winter time. I happen to love winter activities, snowboarding in particular, and I’ve heard that The Northface products are the bees knees when it comes to cold weather geat. So I bought me some nice ski gloves for this coming season. Regular price $ 50.00, 30% off Sale price, $ 35.00. For a quality pair of branded ski gloves? Why not??? You’d be a fool to pass up that kind of a deal. Anyways, service is great and staff is very friendly. Never have I had a bad experience. Thank you very much The North Face. You guys rule!

They have great half off sales and some good bargain basement prices on clearance stuff, the key being to shop during less crowded times, ie not the weekend or holidays. The problem is the sales associates are lame. Smug much? Who are these self absorbed people who work here? They act like they are doing you a favor by saying hello to you after you’ve been in the store ten minutes. Gee thanks. Anyway, amazing discounts and good selection. I bought a winter jacket here last winter and am very pleased with it. I could merely do without the«I could care less» approach of the sales associates.

North Face is awesome. But this outlet doesn’t always have the best sales. I’ve never found anything here that I loved and was the right size or the right price, and I’m generally willing to pay above what I go in mind with but still haven’t ever found anything. I would not say North Face is overrated but this store so far has been for me. Yet, it is north face so I’m a fan: D

This place is crowded! The best time to go is off season. You will have the best selection and it won’t be so busy.

Call it luck. Call it… yeah call it luck. Both times I’ve been here they have had their ½ off sale. Not ½ off some items but all items in the store and they give you a 20% coupon to use if you spend over 50.00. The mens clothing is a bit limited but they have an unreal selection of shoes and I have to repeat that they are ½ off. I can’t tell you the days of the year but hopefully I’ll keep getting lucky when I try again next year.

You’ll do well if you know what you’re doing. Not everything here is a great deal. Shop with your smartphone by your side so you can price check in real time. I also cut to the chase and ask the sales weasels, «What are the 2 – 3 best deals in the store right now?» They know what they are and will tell you. For example, my wife got their 3in1 jacket that’s usually $ 300+ for $ 99 that was a weekend special. There are always a few great deals here.

Its all about timing, otherwise the prices aren’t that much better than online. Great deals to be had occasionally.

I’m a TNF junkie and while their stuff is worth the prices they charge, paying less makes it so much better. If you don’t care about discontinued items or wearing irregular stuff, make the trek to Birch Run. I usually save between 50−75% of retail here.
