It’s taken me a long time to find a stylist in Binghamton that I trust. There aren’t enough options around here, and the ones we have just aren’t very good. I know a lot of people who actually go to NYC for their haircuts(!). I was starting to understand why, but then I found Jen at Lori Ashley. She understood what I wanted, the price was very reasonable, and my color lasted longer than any other dye job I’ve ever gotten. My husband ended up going there after I raved about it(I can’t remember who he saw – sorry!!), and now we’ve both decided it’s our local salon of choice. Thank you for existing in Binghamton!

I went there recently for a haircut and let me tell you — my hair looks HORRIBLE!!! I have thick, curly/wavy hair which I straighten much of the time. I asked to have the hair evened out(since I had an inverted bob in a previous haircut) and some layers put in. First of all, my cut is uneven, there are chunks of hair in the front that are longer than the rest. Also, the front is MUCH shorter than the back even though I asked to have it all one length so I look like a little dutch boy and the layers look like steps on my head. I am so upset with how bad it looks. I did try calling to speak with the manager/owner to report my displeasure, and she ended up telling me that it was partially my own fault for not allowing the stylist to straighten out my hair and go back through. So it is MY fault that I received a horrible haircut. Never heard that one before. I will NOT be going back. Hopefully my hair will grow quickly so I can get it fixed somewhere else.
