Nice people, great pizza. Never many people in the parlor, but lots of take out going out the door. Perhaps it’s me being sentimental about pizza parlors of yesteryear, but this one seem dead. Sad that people don’t take there kids to pizza and let them blow 10 bucks in dumb video games anymore.

I wanted to update my review– they got bumped down two stars. I ordered the rancher, and this time I said no mushrooms(The rancher is always piled on with mushrooms and I am not fond of them, neither is my fiancé), the young man at the front said it’d be fine, handing me my order about 15 minutes later. I get in my car and drive down the road and notice the smell of mushrooms filling my car up, it was then that I stopped to look and it seems as if there is a lazy person back there who decided once they made the mistake of putting on the mushrooms they brushed them off, but there were still quite a few in the cheese, baked into it. Now, what if I had been allergic? I would have had to drive back and get a whole new pizza and probably wait 15 minutes all over again. They just need to not be lazy. Hell, hire me, because I sure wouldn’t have done something that stupid.

Great pizza place! The breadsticks are BOMB yummy! Big open space, plenty of seating and can accommodate large groups, sports teams, big families etc. Great place for kids too, they have a few games and sell ice cream! Prices are OK and Customer service is OK. My favorite pizzas are the Rancher and the Cowboy, love their white garlic sauce. They also have a salad bar, which can be messy at times! Overall great pizza and great menu for either Take out or Dine in, they do not deliver.

They got good pizza! They do need to work on cleanliness of the dining area tho. Nice people too. Based just on pizza it would be 5 stars, but they need to clean more instead of standing around and BS’n. They were not busy and not cleaning except for one girl that had just started her shift, she started cleaning and restocking the salad bar.

Excellent pizza & wings. They have Pepsi products as well as beer on tap. This place would have gotten 5 stars, but the tables and chairs are worn. They have most defiantly seen better days. It gets a little loud when there is a lot of people dining in. All in all, the food is excellent and I will be back.

This was my second time here at pizza round — up and the pizza is great. However. …Both times I have been there all the tables are dirty and no one is in the restaurant. Also, I ordered a 4.99 one trip salad bar and both times the salad bar toppings were bare and looked as if it had been sitting out all day. The customer service is so — so at best. So all that being said, if you go in strictly for the pizza only and take it to go it’s well worth it. Just don’t expect to much dining in.

I had the Franciscan with Canadian bacon, sausage, pepperoni, onions, and bell peppers. Crust was crispy and on the medium to thin side. Just how i like it. The toppings were lacking in flavor. Seemed like they could have use more seasoning. The sauce also was a little bland. The ambiance was something out of Friday night lights. I expected a high school football game to break out at any moment. Or maybe good ol’ country bar fight. On the positive side everyone who works there was very nice and helpful. They also have a nice arcade area with lots of games for the kids. I have never stopped eating pizza because I was full. So i happily demolished this bad boy. If you are a Gridley local, Sylvio’s combination pizza is amazing and would be preferable to this one. But Sylvio’s is hit and miss. The Roundup also has a standard salad bar. Think roundtable. All in all, not a bad place to take the fam, but don’t expect to be blown away by pizza awesomeness.

One of the best pizza places I have ever been to. I highly recommend the lunch buffet, they keep making fresh pizza’s and even ask you what you might prefer them to make. My favorite pizza they make is the rancher pizza. Hard to explain but it’s really different and one of the best pies I’ve had. It’s a laid back place, usually local folks and farmers at lunch time. Excellent place. Worth driving to even if you live in Chico.
