Bear City Hair and Nailz

A tiny salon that does hair and nails. My sister and I called the day before and were able to score appointments for two blowouts. The young woman who took care of us was talented, blowing out my sisters curly hair with a lovely result. My hair was super cute as well and my hair is still going strong on day three. The prices were quite reasonable as well. Next time I’m in big bear I will be back!

These lady’s are wonderful! Sarah always does my hair and even when my hair rejected the color she was willing to fix it without charge! They really want you to be happy! She also is very good at nails as well as Andrea! Those girls can do whatever you want on your nails and they are so creative! They are very giving as well!!! It may be a small shop but it is never slow!!! They welcome everyone!!!

I started going to this shop a couple of months ago with a specific request. They got me in quickly and Sarah was able to fulfill my request very awesomely!!! Every time I have gone in I have requested different designs and she has been able to do every one of them very well. I constantly get compliments on my nails! Not to mention they last very well and everyone I have dealt with at that shop is very friendly. I have no desire to go elsewhere.

I would not go anywhere else for my nails! The entire staff Is super friendly, and I always walk out satisfied with exactly what I ask for. I work in the restaurant business and am extremely hard on my nails. With the amount of daily trauma I put my hands through, an average full set would typically last me 2 weeks at best before they start lifting and breaking. Since I have been going to bear city hair and nailz, I can go 3 – 4 weeks in between fills, and my nails never lift! I also have a broken thumb and lost the nail. Andrea sculpted a new nail for me, it was painless, and looks perfect. These ladies are hair and nail experts!

I am absolutely in love with this place. My hair, nails, feet, skin, face & my heart are always so pleased here. It’s a small town and this place has that cozy small town feeling. No one is ever a stranger! And if you need purses, wallets, jewelry, and hair products you should have already been here by now. I’m telling you, this place is ace!

Went to Bear city hair and nailz today, seen Sarah she did my paws n claws, look at the artwork that she can do and such a very sweet lady, the owner Andrea is always very nice and friendly. I enjoyed very much the time I get to go there and see the ladies. Been going there for a little over two years, recommend them highly for nails and hair. My husband goes there for his regular mens haircut once a month, he really likes all the ladies at the shop. I have a service dog and when I am there they are so accommodating to my dog, the owner even make sure he gets a treat before we go, she always has something for him and he looks forward to it. That’s the kind of place in Big Bear I want to spend my money. Can’t say enough about the ladies at this salon recommended highly.

I called this morning and they got me in an hour later for a pedicure. Although you sit on a regular chair and a they use a portable foot tub, this was by far the best pedicure I’ve ever had! Sarah got my feet nice and smooth and I have terrible calluses. Great pricing and very friendly environment. So thankful I went to this salon. I will definitely be back!

I live in big bear half time and was looking for a local hair and nail salon. I got this referral online from a client of the salon. I called at 9 pm on ¹²⁄₃₀ thinking I would leave a message for the morning. The owner picked up! I felt so bad but she was so incredibly nice. She booked my appt for the next day (and right before a holiday weekend no less) for a blow out and pedicure. I had both done and it was a wonderful time. She even trimmed my ends a bit and gave me one of the best shampoos I have ever had. Everyone in the salon was friendly and happy. The services were stellar. The price was beyond reasonable. The folks also gave me good info re road conditions as It was starting to snow pretty heavily. Easy to access, easy parking right on the corner of Pinion and BB Blvd. out of the village and way from all the traffic in that area. This is a small homey shop. Very friendly and casual. I will definitely be back.
