It’s a pretty neat place. Prices are a little high. But it’s very convenient. Really popular with the tourist. This place really has evolved as the years has passed, especially after the fire. Plenty and a wide variety of products. I was really impressed with their meat department. The staff has always been very nice, and very helpful. My mother has lived in the area for the past twenty years, this store has always been there and very reliable place to get what you need. Again, their Deli, and Meat Department can compete with anyone.

Went here yesterday with my mom. Nice, quaint, friendly store with a little bit of most needed items with unbelievable low prices. They have ready made meals, custom prepared(cooked and wrapped) at the store. Their food is very tasty. We bought a bottle of wine, 3 steaks to cook at home, potato salad and macaroni salad for one, 4 pieces of fried chicken, 8 freshly made steak fries, two packages of fresh baked cookies(6 in a pack). $ 22.00! I actually asked the checker to make sure I paid for everything because the price did not seem realistic. He did and it was!!! It’s nice to see a store that does not take advantage of people. I’ll shop here regularly from now on!

The BEST butcher in Big Bear, roasted chicken, fresh ready to bake pizza, and the BEST meat prices in town, not to mention home made sausage and cured bacon! Ask Paul for his incredible BBQ sauce!

Totally a country style hometown little market. As others have stated there fried chicken is some of the best I have had. They butcher all there own meat so it’s pretty fresh. I have been a customer here for Years and it’s very convenient for all us people on the eastern side of town that don’t want to make the drive out to staters or vons. You do pay a bit higher price though for that convenience. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They offer a «hot food» section, small meat and produce section. And all the small grocery items you might need as well. If your looking for a easy dinner idea I would recommend calling in and having them fri you up a chicken for the family for pick up, you will not be disappointed!

Was hungry from hiking, and I had seen the hot food here from another trip. Picked up the chicken special and it was great, three pieces of chicken, two potato wedges, and a drink. Food was hot and every time I have come in everyone has been so nice and friendly. I try to do most of my shopping here now while I’m in Big Bear, thanks guys!

I love this place. When I was younger, my mom and I would walk here because it was walking distance from our house. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The deli section there always has awesome food. From the chicken, corn dogs, pizza, meatloaf, Mac n cheese to baked potato. It’s amazing. They’re meat is the best. I would rather drive all the way across town to here rather than go to Staters or Vons. They have everything you need. I wish I lived on the other side of town. I would definitely come here all the time!

I love this place sooo much. They are a little market but their meat is even fresher and cheaper than the big markets. The deli is good and they have everything you could ever need. Great place!

We stayed at a cabin in Big Bear and this is the nearest ‘liquor’/market we had. This market consists of everything! From meat, sandwiches, woods, and all the basic necessities and food/chips. The staffs were really helpful, especially the lady who gave us tips on using woods with this one fire starter(homemade) than using a fuel starter. Overall, everything you need is here! Plus they even have homemade cookies and brownies, yum!

They have the best chicken kabobs, it’s like deep fried golden goodness, with ranch dressing for dipping. We went back to get more chicken after we ran out lol

Im very impressed with this place. I got a few steaks and they must have not been packaged rite because they turned a grayish brown color a day after I bought them. I called them and explained the situation, they were extremely nice and told me to come in and they would figure it out. When I got there they refunded my money and were very polite. They have great customer service and everyone there is super nice. I also love how they have home made foods James, jerky, and many other delicious items. I just love the small town feel. Great place!

The name says it all — Community Market. Not a supermarket but a friendly place where you can get what you need. I have been using CM for many, many years since my parents would send me to pick up an item or two. As early teens I would ride my bike with local kids & stop in to get a coke or other cold drink. No matter what you nerd, they will have it, maybe not in your favorite brand or size, but something that will work. I have always been impressed with the deli section and meats. A real butcher on site! At various times you can find some outstanding specials. The prices on these items are often better than the large chain markets. The only reason I do not give 5 stars on this rating is the cost of some canned foods and dry goods which tend to be a little higher than the big boys. I am not a full time resident here but have been a «permanent part-timer» all my life and will use CM as long as they are open.

The second I walked into Community Markets, I was hit by a warm, welcoming aroma of fried chicken. It was actually a bit overwhelming and I forgot what I went into the market to buy and walked straight to the hot foods section instead. They had a huge variety of food: fried chicken, pizza, rotisserie chicken, and jalapeño poppers! Everything smelled so good! Didn’t personally try the food, but it seems like a good place to pick up food if you’re in a hurry. Aftter feasting my eyes and realizing i already ate, I remembered what I came into buy and headed straight for… ALCOHOL! They have a pretty big selection of beers and wines, including a seasonal pumpkin spice Shocktop that intrigued me, but not enough for me to pick up. I beeline-d over to the hard alcohol section after choosing my beers… And was taken aback by the prices! $ 40 for a medium flask of Hennessy! Buy your hard alcohol elsewhere. They had a nice variety of household staples and snacks and friendly service. Super cozy market.
