Harry’s is the best. We’ve only had great experiences and we’ve been having food delivered from there for over 10 years.

Very rude. Tried to order additional and was ignored. When I got my order the addition was missing. Brought it to there attention and was told it wasn’t on the slip. Thats when I reminded the little«chef» we just had the conversation about the add on. He got a little pissy and was mumbling under his breath. Another employee had to tell him to calm down. NEVERAGAIN.

Been ordering from this place for about 6 years, since I moved to the area for college, even lived almost right behind it at one point. Love there calzones and pizza, order it over any place in the area. Lived off rantoul st for the past year and they have always delivered. We literally just moved up to a place off Cabot st(which is closer to them).so we thought we would have a calzone delivered on our night off in the new place… just called tonight half an hour before they closed and they said that we lived to far for them to deliver(even though like I said before we are now closer to them, then we were at our old address)… This is unfortunate been a loyal customer and they treat you like that, guess they can take there Calzone and…

Delicious! Best pizza I’ve had in New England! Also– the chicken finger wrap is to die for!

I am obsessed with their spinach & feta calzone and their homemade Greek dressing. Seriously, two of the most delicious foods I have ever had in my life. I moved from Beverly to NH over 4 years ago and still make special trips down to MA in order to get my Harry’s fix!

Pizza is mediocre at best. I tried a slice of calzone too and it was soggy on the bottom but tasted ok. It did lead to indigestion though. My ham and cheese sub was fine. Yes, I had all of these things. #smörgåsbord

Terrible customer service. Not flexible or accomodating at all. Rude. Not helpful. Terrible. Will never go back again or give them my business. Plenty of other pizza places with great pizza in Beverly — avoid Harrys.

Wish I could give this sad excuse for a restaurant zero stars but unfortunately that’s not an option. We called five minutes ago to ask if they were open, they said«yes, until 9:30.» We called back to place our order to then be told they were closed. We asked for an explanation and the guy says, «I was just talking out of my butt.» Seriously? Did that just happen? Then the manager came on the phone after we asked and he said«listen, we just want to get home.» Wow.

It’s been several years since I was last at Harry’s, but I grew up with it and am glad to see it is still around and rightfully in its place as a local institution. I’m guessing that the menu has not changed much. I recall their subs always being especially hearty and their pizza being a bit on the over cheesy side, but nonetheless tasty. A somewhat bare bones interior(don’t come by for a sit-down meal) but clearly gets their job done well.

Hopefully when a business is sold, the new owner is able to escape the previous owners shortcomings. This place was just sold, and it seems great to me so far(after one order). We’ll definitely be ordering again since I’m a local business owner with a lot of hungry employees.

How do you say how disappointed you are in a restaurant, you say it on Unilocal ! A very dear friend came to visit. We decided to order some food from Harry’ s Pizza & Deli. We ordered Super Beef, a Calzone and a Chicken sandwich. Nothing too difficult!!! We did call at 5:23pm. We called again an hour later. Then 20 minutes later, we asked what’s the problem? They were sorry, they got backed up… but the food is on the way. So 2.5 hours later and no food, we finally called and canceled the order. We do realize problems do arise but don’t lie about it… be honest and give the customer a chance to cancel the order!!! To summarize, we called Hong Kong Café in Beverly and our food arrived in 20 minutes and it was soooooo good!

I’m from long island ny and moved up to mass a year ago. This is the best chicken parm sub I’ve had in mass and it’s really cheap for the quality. Good pizza too.

the interior is older but they have a large sitting area and it’s well maintained. the staff is friendly and quick and the food is good. their calzone are the best in the area and their roast beef subs and pizzas are good. the prices are good and are competitive with the area.

Five stars is not enough. I am making a Unilocal account to tell you that this is my favorite pizza restaurant of all time. If you read the previous negative posts, they still admit the pizza is delicious. Salads, subs, calzones, everything is phenomenal, and everyone there coudln’t be more friendly or accommodating, even when they’re busy. I cannot find one thing on their menu that I have not thoroughly enjoyed. I am a local and go there multiple times a week, but even if I lived miles away I would still frequent Harry’s. Everyone I have visiting my house from all around comments that this pizza and other menu items are truly the bees knees. tl;dr If you even consider not visiting this establishment may the God’s of Pizza have mercy on your sole. I never have nor never again will write a review on Unilocal. Thank you for your time

In the area… looking for some food… accidental find while still open… order meatlovers pizza… was very positively surprised with taste, dough, favors… usually add salt/pepper/chilli/herbs/parm but nope no need to Will not come back but it was good Finished ¾!!! Pizza place run by? Russian? seemed like a bad and unfortunate no alternative while staying in nearby hotel, but it turned out to be really tasty — again was 4⁄5 stars

I’d give a zero if I could. I ordered my pizza at 7:15 pm; it’s 9:15 pm and I have no pizza. We called three times. We were told at 8:30 it would be here in 5 minutes. No pizza, no calls and no answer on their phone. Thanks very much! We were hungry! I bet there’s a charge on my credit card, too!

The Good: The pizza sauce is about as perfect as it could be. Not too sweet, herby, acidic, or spicy. Goldilocks would approve. The veggies were fresh, not canned, which is essential for a good slice of pizza. The price: $ 16 and some change for delivery(and no delivery charge) of a large pizza smothered in meat and veggies. Loaded with toppings all the way to the very edge of the crust. The Bad: Not a big fan of the crust. Nothing wrong with it, except a little soggy in the middle. It’s just not the kind of crust I prefer. The crust I like is chewy and has large bubbly air pockets on the edges. The little balls of meat didn’t add much to the pizza other than grease. Recommendation: Get 1 meat topping if you must have meat, otherwise, stick to veggies and/or cheese.

Harry’s is not all the previous reviewers hold it out to be. I’m seriously underwhelmed by the pizza. Sure the pizza was delivered to my door by a friendly and, yes, good looking young man. But when we called and asked what was on the«harry’s special pizza,» we were told«everything» and given a partial list of toppings. We were not aware it was a partial list and ordered the pizza. I am of an age that the hotness of my server matters less to me than their competence. The price was very reasonable for the style of pizza we ordered. The Harry’s Special is a layer of meat with freshly sliced onion, pepper and mushrooms and cheese. The amount of meat borders on gross. The veggies were all fresh and freshly sliced. Each of the individual meats was delicious and just one of the meats paired with the veggies would have been spectacular but pepperoni, meatball, genoa salami and 2 types of sausage is too much. The sauce is fantastic. really great flavor, not too sweet, not too spicy and well balanced amounts of oregano and basil. The crust was underwhelming and tasted like frozen not handmade dough. We may try this place again but we’ll get something like a tomato, sausage and cheese; something simple to show off that great tomato sauce. To be honest with so many other really great pizza options in the area I’ll probably skip it.

Total accident finding this place. Got extremely lost, most places were already closed by 8, but hey, this tiny pizza joint seems to still be functioning this early in the evening… The guys inside were hilariously cute and funny. Cars drove by and honked, girls hanging outside the windows to wave, and all these guys could do is blush and look at my group as if nothing had happened. We kept joking with them and they were all very personable young men who really did make a fresh, delicious pie for cheap. The ravioli I had was also delicious and came with a freshly made garlic cheese breadstick and a huge salad to boot — for $ 6.99. I was floored. All this food for $ 6.99? Did I die and go to cheap tasty food heaven or something? I suppose compared to other pizza places I’ve been to — or Italy — it’s not the ultimate best, but for this tiny little town and having a fun, friendly staff behind the counter? It serves it purpose rather well if you ask me(and the 6 people who came in for orders in the hour we were there must agree). It’s not useful for me, but I liked that students in the area could use their flex cards to get food here as well. I like restaurants that support student flex card use. Lord knows I wound up having to buy 100 candy bars with mine to actually use it all up — would’ve rather scarfed down some great pizza instead!
