Beverly House of Pizza

I use to be a big fan, but I have come to realize they do not value their customers like they should. They had delivered regularly to me and then tonight I called and they refused to do so because I am too far away. That is not what you want to hear when your back is out and you are hungry. It is a 7 minute drive. They have to get their act together. I am soured on going there and would caution people getting too attached.

I recommend their pizza, it is some of the best I have had in the area! They are very friendly and quick getting your order together.

I had a chance to stop by today in Beverly House of Pizza for lunch. I ordered spinach feta cheese calzone, chicken kabob salate and stake tip dinner. Really I was impressed. The place was so clean, the service was so good and the most important the food. Me, my wife and my daughter enjoyed the delicious food cooked so perfect. I recommend this place to all my friends and to everyone. I will go back again.

This place is great. I probably order delivery from here atleast twice a month. They always arrive within the quoted time and the food is always warm to Hot. The people are nice. Sometimes the person (s) who answer the phone can sound a little. intimidating? I’m sure they are just really busy and have many orders to fulfill. However the delivery drivers are always very pleasant! Munching on a yummy cheese pizza and buffalo chicken tenders as I write this!

I used to live right next door. Loved the salads, i would request romaine instead of iceburg, and the garlic bread with cheese is amazing (a LOT of garlic). The pizza is okay, my fiancé loved it, but i dont love the crunchy greek style crust as much as he does.

This review is based on comparison to other roast beef and pizza shops around. Chicken, Broccoli, and Ziti is the best I have had. In terms of pizza, I have yet to have a better buffalo chicken pizza (and I have had a lot of this). The sauce they give with it is combo that would scare oreos and milk. The chicken kabob salad is loaded with chicken and the veggies are fresh. They know how to treat their regulars too.

Haven’t been here in a while. Thought I’d come back, but what happened here!!! I used to get the Souvlaki, and it used to come with Tatziki sauce, and pita bread. Now it doesn’t, and the souvlaki pieces were like cubes of fossilized pork. Not to mention I am chugging TUMS right about now because of a nice case of heartburn… The woman who answered the phone and gave me my order was rude as well.

My husband and I ordered pizza and a small fry this evening. After an hour, I called bc we never got our order. She said «its on the way»…15 more minutes nothing. Finally the order comes and the pizza is luke warm at best and the fries are cold. I called and the girl who answered put me on hold. about 5 full minutes later a manager or owner gets one phone. «hello» I said «hello» her response «yeah» I said «I called about my ordered being cold» her response «yeah» I said «yes I ordered over an hour ago and I realize it is Friday but the food is cold» She sighs and says in a highly annoyed voice «fine well I will give you a small fry next time!» I said DONT BOTHER I WILL BE GOING ELSEWHERE! Why I strayed from Mikes for one night is beyond me, learned my lesson!

This place is simply awful and it’s because of the owners and the family. I have ordered SEVERLY times and each time my order has been wrong or never put in and when you question why this happen the owners mother gives you an attitude and look like your the one who was wrong when she took the order wrong not once not twice but three times and that was that it’s not worth the aggravation for pizza that is easily forgotten. Advice to anyone who orders from here make sure the mother does not take your order and if you get there and your order was never done just walk away and call the next best thing dominos!

I swear I keep this place in business with how much money I spend there. Good pizza, a little greasy, but good. Just had a pastrami and bacon sub from here last night. It was phenomenal. Roast beef is hit or miss. Sometimes it’s really good and other times it’s not as good.

I love this place. Cheap food great fast service ! There fried seafood in town!

Ordered a sub and chicken fingers. Got there its cost almost $ 30 because they thought i asked for 2 of everything. Went in and said something they didnt want to hear it gave me five follars back and that was it

Very by the book «Greek» style house of pizza. Not bad, not good. Greasy. Tons of things to get on the menu, like your average house of pizza joint –most of the stuff is frozen garbage from the likes of Sysco.
This is my third pizza place I’ve tried since moving to Beverly. This town is in serious need of a decent pizza place. At least something more artisan? There seems to be lots of poor-​to-​mediocre pizza places around. It’s pretty sad when a 2 ½ star «house» style joint is the best I’ve had here.

I own a bike shop right across the intersection from this place and go there occasionally for lunch. The way I see it, any place having the cojones to name themselves the town’s ‘House of Pizza’ had better be good and Beverly House does not disappoint. Everything I’ve gotten there — whether subs or pizza — has been exactly what I would expect from a pizza shop like this. I’ve gotten pizza at every shop in the area and Beverly House is by far my favorite. Here’s a tip: when ordering a pie with extra cheese, be sure that you mean it because they do not mess around and will give you EXTRA cheese (which is never a bad thing)!

Go-​To spot for a dinner takeout or a quick lunch.
Outside looks a little sketch… Appears no different than any other sub shop but the food is better. Staff is always nice, and are pretty quick.
We usually go with the steak/​chicken salads but subs and pizza are good too.

Known among my circle of friends and neighbors for its superb subs, dinner plates, and calzones, the Beverly House of Pizza is an unassuming take-​away and home delivery establishment located strategically near the junction of Beverly’s Cabot and Rantoul Streets (just at the foot of the Beverly-​Salem bridge). This hole-​in-​the-​wall also has a few booths in which the undemanding can sit and wait for their or orders or – if need be – can chow down in an air-​conditioned designated area on a hot evening.
Although 2010’s price increases have made it less of a standout value than in recent years, the types and quantities of sandwich and calzone items still are praiseworthy. The many varieties of sandwich dinner plates include hefty sides of decent onion rings, french fries, and Greek salad with house dressing. Ironically, its pizza is good but not Beverly House’s best product. All menu items can be cooked to exacting order, allowing for interesting sub or sandwich combinations. Largest and best calzones in the area! If you ask, the home-​made sauces that accompany the calzones most often can be sent in side containers.
It always is best if you telephone ahead if you intend to pick up your order. Most items are prepared and ready for pick-​up in 15 – 20 minutes. Local delivery typically is within 45 minutes of your placing the order.
Good, relatively cheap, plentiful quantities, consistently satisfactory –what more can one desire from a local sandwich/​calzone/​pizza joint? After having patronized many local take-​away/​delivery joints, the order these days gets phoned in to Beverly House nearly every time!
