Super friendly staff, an amazing selection of foods and snacks, and lovely atmosphere. Safe to say it’s my second home!

New Year, New Location, New Review! At first, I was staunchly opposed to this new location across the street from their previous home. This new place was too big. The menu was changed. The layout was different, and therefore all wrong. Yuck. Terrible. There goes the neighborhood. However, after continuing to visit nearly every day for my caffeine infusion, I must admit that my impression of the new setup has warmed significantly. There’s much more seating, the food is better, there are more coffee options, and there is, of course, beer now. You’ve won, Atomic Café. As my Uncle John always says, this place is the bee’s knees. Spectacular coffee and fantastic sandwiches served by friendly folks, with ample seating inside and parking in the street or just around the corner. If you’re in Beverly, you can’t go wrong with Atomic Café.

My coffee and muffin were delicious, however the staff weren’t very pleasant and that was unfortunate. Didn’t even crack a smile.

My family and friends were in for New Years Eve after the parade. The counter staff could not have been more rude or inattentive. Huge disappointment, we will not be returning.

One of the best places to grab a cup of joe, a delicious sandwich, donut or cookie. Honestly, their chocolate chip cookies are to die for… that homemade bread, top notch. Small area for seating, well worth the experience if you’re in downtown Beverly!

Great coffee and great service however food is very hit or miss. Sandwiches are just ok, they offer someonewhat unique choices, however they’re never really what you’re craving and could be made better with a few ingredient changes. The Arugula Salad, while sounding appetizing, is awful. It’s a mix of granny smith apple slices, blue cheese, and a lemon vinegrette dressing-the result: a super tart soup of greens drowned in dressing and cheese that leaves your teeth feeling like you just ate a handful of warheads. Then there’s the cobb salad which is usually excellent and they don’t even charge extra for chix! *kudos* However, I had the Cobb today and it was not so steller. The kitchen clearly had ran out of greens so I got a bunch of dry kale(wish they had run that by me), it was topped with mushy guacamole rather than avocado slices, and the balsamic dressing was as thick as sour cream. Needless to say I was dissapointed. Once again, the staff, atmosphere, and coffee are terrific but the inconsistency in the food really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I can’t speak for the pasteries, they may be good? Fix the food please, I want to keep coming.

They did an excellent job at making a dirty chai and have an impressive selection of roasted coffees to purchase but my grandfather was disappointed they did not have the French roast he regularly buys from them and they did not offer any solution or suggestion as to when/how to order it from them. But the menu did look very appealing.

One of the best cafés I’ve been to on the east coast. Here are a few reasons this place is killer: 1. The only place I’ve seen a Yirg on effing drip, and it’s delicious. 2. Well priced and very tasty sandwiches. 3. Nitro cold brew on tap. 4. Beer is also on tap 5. Great ambience. Trendy without feeling cold or pretentious. GOHERE.

In Beverly for a week and found this place on Google. Upon walking in you can feel the cool vibe here. Ambiance is very nice with lots of outlets for mobile charging. I had the chai with an espresso shot, good stuff. Give this place a try if you’re in town.

The Atomic Café is one of my favorite coffee shops of all time, and now it’s my favorite spot to grab a beer or glass of wine. They have a broad range of very well-executed coffee roasts, delicious espresso drinks and great food. Their baked goods are top-notch as well. If you haven’t been in to sample their beer and wine list, you gotta go check it out. They serve a great range of craft beers and tasty wines.

The new Atomic is a beautifully designed space which makes it a desirable place for a meet up or getting some work done while sitting in a comfy booth. The sandwiches are decent and they have a broad menu so there’s like something for everyone(including beer and wine, which is nice to have available). However, as a coffee shop the coffee is just not that good. The quality of the espresso drinks in particular is lacking.

Love the coffee HATE the stinginess of the manager! Trying to watch nutrition asked for cucumbers instead of potato chips.(Which not only had a NICE employee did on a previous day but did today for someone! She said that woman is «special»… GAH. So all customers are not equal folks! Be forwarned! PEOPLEOVERPOLICYPLEASE! A few slices of cucumber is «not cost effective for us» GAH! Some employees are sweet. But helpless because of the stupid stingy policies. Is it really worth it to spread ill will? Maybe they think newcomers business doesn’t matter. Charge 25 cents to sub or something! GIVEYOUR $#!@ customers what they want!

It’s the atomic café so I automatically love it yet yikes, the new Beverly location. What did you do men. Old Beverly so jammed yet nice vibe. Marblehead cute cute cute. New Newburyport location awesome. WHAT happened to new beverly. Slam bang bam. Noisy, no funk, confusing, no vibe. No cute. Bah humbug. YES I cheer you on as you grow and expand. Get that old red couch out of storage and get it into new beverly pronto… And fix that slamming front door.

I grew up going to Atomic and enjoying their fantastic grilled cheese sandwiches and panini. They café recently moved across the street to a bigger location and now serves what is probably the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in Massachusetts. Awesome.

This place is legit. As a Beverly resident, I’m proud to have this coffee shop in my town. John(the owner) is an awesome guy and has done an incredible job here. Their new location is amazing, with plenty of room. Their coffees are truly some of the best I’ve had, but what sealed the deal for me is the cold brew. They have cold brewed coffee on nitro!!! They pour it out of a tap and it looks like a Guinness, with a frothy head and all. I love these guys!

You know how in high school there was that one friend who left for summer vacation kinda dorky and came back senior year smokin’ hot? That’s the new Atomic Café in Beverly. The old Atomic was a dumpy little dive that I loved but was in need of a new wardrobe. That’s what happened. They gutted the old place across the street, added in beautiful wood floors, a nice new roomy area for the baristas to work, sandwiches are made in a back kitchen, and good god the room. There are tables galore, booths to spare, and a decent amount of bar space. The tables are all fancy wood and there are comfy little nooks here and there in case you are having one of those morning after date night coffee.(Don’t pretend you don’t know what I’m talking about.) Still, most of the baristas need to learn how to pull a smooth and not bitter espresso and Atomic’s coffee is stuck in the 90s darker roasts. I’d love it if they would experiment with some lighter roast varietals. But they are all medium roasted. Also, they serve blends in the café. They don’t do pour over or aero press, so it’s drip brew, espresso drinks, or iced coffee. The iced may or may not be cold brew. Atomic need to up their coffee roasting game. Their sandwiches are top notch and they have a few new pressed sandwiches on the menu. The turkey with apple and brie is awesome. Atomic is the place to go for long periods of studying but for great espresso… It’s still Jaho or Gusto for me. I hope that the baristas will up their game to match the new digs. I also hope that the roasters will experiment with some different beans and roasting.

What a cute little diner. Went here yesterday with a girlfriend to get some work done. The biggest downfall was not enough plugs for our computers, however they did have free wifi. The grilled cheese was delicious and I LOVED my cappuccino. I wanted a half caf and the server even asked how many of which shot(2 decaf and 1 full — so sweet). It was adorably made. As I said, it’s a typical diner with 50s swag and plastic seats, but a really great little place to grab a bite to eat or get some work done with their free wifi.

I love it here. They always do a great job on my coffee, tea or smoothie. Sandwiches are yummy, too.
