Share Yvon

First off, my hair was beautiful when I walked out of Share’s salon. it was tiny, healthy, and full of body and movement! I hate wearing my hair straight because I don’t like flat hair but share made sure to give me a nice bounce and body to my hair.
I moved to LA about a year ago and was looking for quality black hair salons and I found Share Yvon. I ended up never making an appointment but a year later I found a groupon and decided to take the plunge since it was such a good deal and I needed a trim anyways. My services included a cellophane, treatment and trim + a style. Share was a great stylist and it was the first time I straightened my natural hair and I had been wearing consistent weaves back to back for about 2 years.
I met her daughter who has thick long hair down her back and Share also has long hair down her back so I know she really must know healthy hair practices. I will likely come back to Share for a trim. She showed me exactly what she was going to trim and didn’t cut any more than she said she would. Growing long healthy hair is clearly a priority for her. The only reason why I am giving her 4 stars is because her prices are a little steep without a groupon for a grad student like me. However, I plan on splurging and coming to her maybe 2 – 4 times a year for trims.
Also if anyone is concerned about heat damage, after I washed my hair all my curls and kinks came back with no damage in sight :) I also saw some pictures of weaves and a curly set she did for a client which looked good, so you don’t have to just come in and get your hair pressed.

I am so happy I found Share a couple months ago. She is amazing. During my first appointment she listened to me as I expressed my hair concerns (I was, and still am, dealing with post partum hair loss). She heard me, understood me, and together we came up with a game plan.
Outside of her ability to get my natural hair straight with just a blow-​dryer, she has a wonderful personality.
One of the things that I love about Share is that she won’t have you sitting under a dryer while she does someone else’s hair (I absolutely hate that so many hair stylists do that!). She is conscious and respectful of her clients time, so she works on one person at a time.
I cannot sing her praises enough, I would highly recommend Share.

Share is amazingggg. She did such a great job on my hair. It came out beautifully. She’s so attentive to your hair and understanding, love it! Very hospitable, nurturing and lovely! Would definitely recommend her to anyone!

Let me begin by saying that this review is two years overdue. Share Yvon has been taking care of my hair for the last two years and I have never had a more FAB stylist. What I love about Share is that she LISTENS to what you want and never fails to deliver. She has also been doing my highlights and I have been very pleased with the gorgeous results. Most recently, we did extensions where she colored and highlighted the extensions to match my hair… what can I say, the compliments keep on coming!!!
Thank you Share for being so professional, attentive … and most importantly for keeping me «glammed» up!!! Cheers!
