Dr Ponton is a robot. She exhibits no human feelings. She is SO expensive and does nothing. She is probably one of the most boring people on the planet and one of the cities worst psychiatrists.

I am really not someone who likes to point fingers at people, but my experience at Dr. Ponton’s deserves a review. I moved here recently to the area and was looking for someone to continue prescribing a medication I had taken for years. Impressed by Dr. Ponton’s credentials I made an appointment. I give her one star because she was good at returning my phonecalls. However, her fees are outrageous and she is very unaccommodating. My initial appointment was supposed to be one hour for 375 dollars. She takes no insurance. At the end of the appointment she gave me a scrip for one month of medication, even though she told me she would write for 2 – 3 over the phone – I never would have made the appointment otherwise. When I politely asked her about this she simply said that’s not how she does things, and gave me no medical reason. Also, she didn’t even spend the full 1 hour with me. Our appointment ended promptly at 20 till the hour, when she asked for payment.
Her manner is very cold and she made me feel very awkward the entire time. The entire appointment felt forced. If you are looking for a warmer, friendly persona I would steer clear.
