Dr. Carole Jordan-Harris has wonderful bedside manners, is gentle, and explains everything. However, she lacks professionalism in her office manners and this is why I won’t be returning to her ever again. I go to her during my lunch break in order to minimize taking time off from work and I arrived, admittedly, late at 12:07(my appointment was at 12:00). The receptionist never told me that hte doctor was not even in the office. She took my blood pressure, weight, and asked me to strip at 12:20. Between 12:20 and 12:40 I sat naked in my chair and then realized(rather slowly on my part) that the doctor wasn’t in. I had to get back to work by 1 so I asked where the doctor was. She was on her way. By 12:50 I was already late back to work, cold, and there was no sign of the doctor. Do these people not understand that we have busy schedules too? I don’t pretend to think that my work is more important than hers(she was at the hospital) but it is rude and dishonest to treat a patient like they did me. The receptionist was dumb and unapologetic as well, but I don’t blame her because she was dumb and didn’t know any better. The doctor should have though. Next time, make a simple phone call, tell me what’s going on, and I can reschedule. Except there won’t be a next time.
