Hara and Co

I came in today to sell two Miu Miu and one Givenchy bag with a friend who has sold to them several times. The appraiser refused to take the Givenchy bag and one of the Miu Miu’s even though they were in like-​new condition. He then offered me $ 150 for the remaining Miu Miu that I paid $ 2k for. My friend and I were both flabbergasted. Neither of us will be returning.

By far, my most trusted reseller for AUTHENTIC, top quality designer handbags.
Most of their bags are in pristine condition and their prices are compatible with online sites. Customer service is excellent — James and Rumi (sorry if I misspelled your name) are super friendly and helpful. The store is not very big, but it is very nice and bright inside plus plenty of metered street parking outside. I have never consigned but purchased from them twice– delightful experience both times :)

so the first time i went to the store, the young lady wa very helpful. the collection of items was a bit small, not to mention pricey. however, at the end of the day, i would have given 5 stars because the lady i dealt with told me that she would honor the price of a chanel vintage bag that she quoted when i came back. well i did come back and that particular lady was not there. however, there was a record of my conversation and the negotiated price that i was given. the store refused to honor that price — what a joke!

James took very good care of my sister and I during our recent visit. My LV Keepall was starting to show signs of wear after 30+ years. I was also looking for a small Chanel bag.
Although I didn’t find exactly what I was looking for, James will let me know when they get them in.
Sis found a pair of Chanel sunglasses.
James recommended Walter’s for lunch… It was perfect!

Service is great, the store has a nice set up, small but bright and clean.
Metered parking out front.
They consign, trade and sell, prices are pretty high, but lower than retail and you can tell them if you are looking for something specific and they will contact you when they get it in.
I didn’t fall in love with any of the purses this time, but I will be back if I am in the area again to see what they have then.

Having lunch on Beverly Blvd I ran across Hara & Co and was excited. My luggage collecting is pretty expensive (Gucci/​LV). Yet there were a few pieces I wasn’t using as often so I decided to take them in after seeing a piece they had that could fit my collection. The sale people James and another slim young lady (Black) were GREAT and VERY helpful sales people. I saw a luggage item that brand new was far less then the luggage item I wanted to make a SWAP for. Their item was on the floor for $ 1K and had been sitting there for a while with no interest and my item was more desirable. This was told to me BEFORE the buys looked at my item. The buys looked at my item and offered me $ 150 for it, LOL!!! I was in shock and couldn’t believe what I was hearing. My item on their floor would’ve easily been sold for $ 1200-​$ 1500. Their profits on each item was ridiculous, if I would been stupid enough to except their offer. I would’ve been out of pocket $ 850 then they would’ve sold my item at a huge profit after paying me $ 150 for it. If this was a straight sale for cash, you would need to pretty desperate to sell high-​end items in this store. IM NOT DESPERATE! NOTE: The 2 Stars were for the two Sales People.

Sometimes I like to dream, out loud and in public. The day that I found Hara & Co was one of these. Smallish shop with floor to ceiling displays of Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Gucci, Chanel, Celine and every other important designer that you could want. The items that you are purchasing are used but they don’t look useeeed. They are in beautiful condition, often coming with original labels and boxes. Although I looked more like a giddy, twentysomething than potential Birkin buyer, the staff was extremely friendly chatting with us and letting me look at some of the products. If I were every again in the market for one of these, I would certainly come here because the items are in pristine condition and although the price is not reduced very much, their prices are lower than if you were to buy one of these products retail.

The best way to describe my experience here is i had a «pretty woman» moment. I found a prada bag that I liked and the price was good so I asked to purchase it only to find out they wont sell it to me because there is 2 people ahead of me waiting for same bag. What I don’t understand is if someone asked to put it on hold why put the bag on display!?! I’m very irritated by this because I was ready to pay for the bag right there an then! They said they called the person who originally put the bag on hold but I doubt it. I just can’t believe I was denied the right to purchase this bag. an expensive bag nonetheless! Now I question if it was even real. Major let down!

Though the buyers didn’t buy my items, the sales associates were more than friendly. I dealt primarily with James and a tall slender woman (sorry, I forgot your name). They were extremely professional and took great care of my product as they had them checked out by their bosses. The bosses were kind enough to wear gloves when handling my merchandise and were very careful. The man doesn’t speak English, but his partner kindly translated and was kind with her words, I did get a chance to look around, and they have luxury items;mainly purses that were in perfect condition. I would absolutely go there for luxury items.

It’s nothing like other consignment store. It’s not a big store, but well organized. I found «never been used» looking Chanel bag. I was not planning to purchase anything that day, but It was too great deal to pass. I will definitely go back the store just for checking :)

Beautiful store and great customer service. They didn’t have the bag I was looking for although I will be back to see what they get in.
