You can call the store in San Francisco and they will ship the coffee to you, all variations, whole beans or ground. Their phone number is 415−986−2420. Gregorio was a great help to me. They pick up the shipping on first order. WORTHTHEWAIT!!!

BADMERCHANTSDESERVETOGOOUTOFBUSINESS!!! Real decent coffee but their arrogant self important attitude is too much to take. I bought from them for years, however the last web order was such an ordeal, NEVERAGAIN. Their coffee is no better than Peet’s or Illy or the in house blends at Whole Foods. It’s just another local cult with really dreadful customer service.

Yup, confirmed today that the BH store has closed. We knew something was up a month or so back when they had run out of dark roast. Then two weeks later I walked in and there was NO coffee in the place except for a few pounds of decaf. The regular guy there gave no indication however that they were planning to shut the store, he just said they were waiting for more beans. This is a sad day indeed, I have lived on their coffee for over a decade. I almost always just went to the store in person, so can’t see doing mail order from their bay area stores, if those are even still open. Oh right a review. Graffeos blend is(was) one of the best there is. Just a superb tasting perfectly balanced blend of excellent quality beans. Their two roasts, dark and light, were also perfectly done and absolutely consistent. I almost always went for the ½+1/2(half dark, half light roast) in the last few years. Fellow LA Unilocalers, where do we go now for our beans? Peets is overpriced and overroasts everything even if some their blends are pretty good. Groundworks? Always kind of blah for me. Conservatory? Sucks! Intelligentsia? Not convenient but maybe worth it? Don’t even mention Star&$#&w, Coffee Bean, Tanners, etc… I’d rather drink Maxwell House. HELP

This place has closed. Shocking isn’t it? It started with an irregular supply of dark roast coffee then the light roast. Two weekends ago we dropped and they mentioned there is a chance they might close down the BH location due to coffee supply issue. Today, I called and they confirmed that they have closed. :(

Since I drink my coffee black, I figure I’ll get the best coffee I can get. I allow myself that splurge since I’m not adding milk/cream/flavorings. I used to get the half-dark half-light ground for drip… and dark roast for my espresso grind… but now i go all dark all the time. sometimes they’re out of dark — so call them ahead if you don’t live in the area. and they do ship ups as well.

You should order by phone so you don’t have to dodge around all the posh-gross people of Bev. The shop is friendly and quick to deliver, and they keep you on file so it only takes a few seconds when you start to run short.

Love this coffee. Rich and not bitter. I like the half dark/half light roast. Throw in a little half & half and that’s what I call ‘supreme bean’. But you have to do that at home as it’s just beans here; no cups. Been coming here for years — it’s like a temple to the coffee bean. It has the same vibe to me as a winery. You always see people on the street looking in — wondering what’s going on inside. It’s a bit out-of-the-ordinary on posh Beverly Dr., but that’s one more unique aspect to this place. When I can’t get it, I will get Peet’s French Roast or Starbucks Café Verona. The place has such a cool industrial look with big bags of beans and these huge coffee roasters — like Captain Nemo’s sub.

The best coffee you can get. The smell alone will caffeinate you and please your taste buds. If you are a coffee lover you must try these beans. They are close early during the week(5:30pm) and aren’t open on Sunday so plan your trip accordingly!

This minimal, old-world style shop is a place to buy wonderful roasted coffee beans. What they do here– roast and sell coffee beans– they do very well, so the choices are few: dark or light roast, regular or decaf, whole beans or ground. Your trip home with these aromatic beans will drive you absolutely mad, and the delicious result of brewing them yourself will not disappoint.

I went here thinking they served coffee or espresso drinks(thanks mobile Unilocal). I don’t know how else clarify this without sounding negative, but be aware newbies, they don’t serve drinks. On a very positive note however, they do sell awesome coffee and freshly roasted too! The simplicity of ordering the coffee is a plus. Dark or light. ½ lb, 1 lb. regular or decaf.

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed Graffeo yet! Some of the best coffee I have ever had. Fresh roasted and superb, I love waking up to the smell of this coffee brewing. It’s a simple place, you buy your coffee and you leave, unlike Starbucks or Peet’s where there’s usually a line out the door, and quite frankly I’ve never been a big fan of those two anyway. I’d rather save my $ 4, and put my Graffeo in a travel mug. And I’ll never have to utter the word«Venti»… PS — forgot to mention you can buy the beans only here. the actual brewing is up to your masterful coffee skillz.

there’s something about my weekly trip to graffeo for my coffee beans that brings me joy. maybe it’s because the place seems so old-worldly, and not pretentious, despite the fact it’s only steps from Rodeo Dr. the beans are freshly roasted daily on site, and the taste is rich, full-bodied, and not a trace of bitter. the aroma is wonderful…(my neighbors can attest)

Had one of the best postprandial coffees ever at the Zuni Café in SF a while back. When I asked what type of coffee it was, the waiter replied, «Graffeo.» I didn’t have a clue what she was talking about until I looked it up online. I was thrilled to see that they have an outpost in the LA area. It’s not exactly convenient for me, but if I’m anywhere in the Beverly Hills area, it’s definitely worth a stop. Bare bones décor, but the smell of roasted beans makes up for the spartan surroundings. It’s just a grab and go kind of place anyway. And while they do offer only regular and dark roast(in full caf and decaf versions), they’ll blend up a mix to your specifications. Smooth, rich and delicious – who needs a zillion choices when the basics are this good?

This is by far the best coffee I’ve bought in L.A. Far superior to Starbucks, Peet’s or any other roasters. The taste is smooth and full bodied. A bit more expensive than other venues, but well worth it for the extra flavor.

This is my favorite place to buy freshly roasted coffee in Los Angeles. They roast the coffee on premises and it comes in two flavors: light and dark, both regular and decaf. It is wrapped in a plain brown paper bag and costs about $ 13.00 a pound. The aroma is powerful. This is by far the finest coffee in the Southland. The don’t sell brewed cups here – only beans.
