When we quickly realized that our daughter was born with microphthalmia (an eye that didn’t fully develop in the womb) we were devastated. After trying to find care for her in our home state, it was clear that we had to go elsewhere. Thankfully we found Dr. Lewis online. After a Skype consultation we made arrangements for our whole family of 7 to fly from Hawaii to California for an entire month for our youngest to get the treatment she needed. After our first appointment such a sense of hope and peace came over us. A situation that seemed so sad and scary turned into a circumstance so hopeful. Her progress from that treatment has been extraordinary. As parents we only want what is the very best for our daughter and believe that we have found that at Dr. Lewis’ office. We are beyond grateful.
